Well, it's good to know Kaberle would be willing to waive his no-trade.

Is there anything more beautiful than scoring six goals on Toronto and kicking some ass? No, there is not.

Though this game was way too ugly, on both sides, though it didn't help that one entire line of Toronto's didn't even try to touch the puck and only went in for fights. Still, neither team was classy tonight. And man, Grabovski must really be a dick for everyone to hate him so much.

I love Grabovski. I also love Brad May. But what I love the most was how old-school that hockey game was. Yeah we lost 6-2 but that doesnt bother me. That second period was brutal and I loved it. As if Grabs got suspended for pushing the linesmen.

Brahm I am happy that your team (who I might add is made up of allstars  ) beat up on a struggling rebuilding team. I guess you need to be happy for something.

Also Brad Mays hit where he took out 2 frogs at once was awesome, and his fight was also awesome.

I also love Grabs comments about the dirty Tits brothers. Something along the line of "They must not be Belarussian anymore, I think they are French. Because I don't fight fellow Belarussians." Can anyone say the Leafs won this trade?

Oh come on, you know that Montreal and Toronto have a rivalry, and that no matter where each team is in the standings, they generally play each other fairly even. Thats' what makes Toronto Montreal games so great, and why we're both so happy whenever our team beats the other. And yes, I agree that it's completely retarded that four of our players are all star starters; none of them deserve to be starters, and the only two who deserve to be on the team this season are Markov and Komisarek. But the All Star game is a joke anyway.

And judging by how much everyone on the Habs seem to hate him, Grabovski must be a real dick. He can be a good player, but from what I hear he caused real friction on the team. I'm happy we got rid of him, and I honestly hope he'll mellow out and be more of a team player on Toronto.

I only got hostile because you insulted my team. Anyway another loss tonight against the Flyers and now we are 1 loss closer to Tavares. I will say it again, I love Brad May and Grabovski. Whatever pisses of habs fans and the team is a plus in my books.

Man, you are way too sensitive. And I really hope Toronto starts winning some games... Just aim for mediocrity, guys! Still, Toronto has some tough competition for those last places; The Islanders, St. Louis and The Senators and Atlanta sure do seem to want Tavares just a bit more.

It sucks to be a Leafs fan. We can't win better than those teams on must years, and now we can't lose better than then. But we only have 2 wins in our last 9 games. So we are going in the right direction. A loss to the Preds on Tuesday would be gold for us, cause the Preds are right now only 2 points ahead of us. So we really need to lose to them.

I still love Grabs. :dio:

2 wins in our last 10 games.

Go Leafs Go!

Now we need to lose to the Hurricanes tomorrow night, and tank nation will be in full swing. But a loss this weekend to Atlanta would be absolutely amazing.

Plus Burke said that Pogge would be given a chance to play some more games to see if he has a future in Toronto or not. If he plays good, then our draft position is not as good but we have a good young goalie. If he stinks, it helps our draft position but then Pogge is a flop. But we just draft another goalie and sign one this summer. So it's win-win.

I would not expect a loss against us my good sir.. We've let in 14 goals in three games against opponents like the Florida Kittens and the Senaturds..

Well he have only scored like 4 goals in out last 4 games. SO we shall see if our shite offence is better or worse than your shite defence/goaltending.

And since Toskala played good against Nashville, history says he will play like shit againts you guys. Toskala doesn't know what 2 good games in a row means.

But we shall see, Florida also beat up on us last week,

Well Ward had some seriously solid games before this losing streak and our defence was criminally solid. However, Gleason is out at least, and there may be other injuries. Our boys from Albany may be a little rusty. I think Leighton played against both Boston and Ottawa which probably states the case. Has his moments but damn is he sloppy.

Well.. Count me in for another year of tanking. The Kings pretty much played themselves out of the playoff picture this last month. I'm calling it right now: Kings will finish 5th to last but win the draft lottery and get to pick Tavares.

I never thought this LA team would be having so much difficulty scoring. Last year they were a scoring machine without any defence, now they are the opposite.

TANK FOR TAVARES!!!

No way will you guys win the lottery, you may finish top 5 but wont win.

The Islanders have 12 wins and lost DiPietro for the season. Count on Tavares going there. Also the Blues, Thrashers, and Senators are playing like pure garbage (well the Sens are on a 3 game winning streak). Not to mention my Leafers who have blown a combined 7-0 lead in the past 2 games and coach Ron Wilson came right out and said we are a bad team. So your Kings have some serious competition for that lottery pick. But I am saying it now, the Islanders get Tavares.

A lot of Canucks fans are saying Sundin is cursed. I think it looks good on him to be a minus player with 8 penalty minutes and only 2 points so far this season. He sure seems like he's worth that $10 million contract.

A little bit of movement in the NHL today:

Edmonton Oilers traded goalie Mathieu Garon to the Pittsburgh Penguins for goalie Dany Sabourin, centre Ryan Stone and a 4th round pick in 2011.

Also,

The New York Islanders after losing Rick DiPietro for the season, signed goalie Wade Dubielewicz. Dubielewicz use to play for the Islanders, but then bolted to the KHL after nobody signed him this past summer. He got out of his KHL contract and re-signed with the Islandres. But since he played in a league outside of the NHL he had to clear waivers, and he didn't. The Columbus Blue Jackets claimed him. That now gives Columbus 3 goalies, and there has been a lot of rumors lately about Pascal Leclaire getting traded out of Columbus.

So yeah, that's the small moves that have happened. At least something has happened, it was getting too boring.

Can't wait for the trade deadline.
