This is an excellent album, combining brilliantly the melodies of the first album with the aggressiveness of the second. Highly recommended.

This is a great melodic-death band. They can throw in the technical aspects and still not lose the listener. They flirt with "proggy" death, but thank God they do not fully "go there". Excellent band who can still write complex songs that retain a "memorable" quality to them. I will be looking for this one as well.

Good review I suppose. The album is great, and the art is very nice too.I know I am being an A-hole for this, but their first cd was very much in the Bodom/Norther/Kalmah vein with some In Flames moments here and there.Unborn really seperated them from the pack and helps them stand out,but like the reviewer said, with one of the main guys gone, where will they go now?

Still,I like this album alot.

Pretty good album, reminds me of Dark Tranquillity's later albums but grittier (maybe a bit of Darkane too). Also like later DT i like the faster stuff more than the mid-paced stuff :P

Damn... this album smokes. Love it. Once I get a job, I shall be purchasing this one.

Been listening to a few songs on pandora by these guys and so far they have really impressed me. I'd like to get a hold of this one. Darkane mixed with Dark Tranquillity. :dio:

Just relistened to this one. Holy shit is it amazing. Take Arsis and mix them with Dark Tranquility and out pops Mors Principium Est. What a killer album this one is. I wish I would spent more time on it in 2007.
