I've just finished Prince of Persia and it was very good, the prince movements are very fluid, the controls are a joy to use and the battles are tons of fun it feels like youre making a coreography instead of making combos, the sceneries are breathtaking, graphics are great, sound is very good, i think it was a great idea that you could talk to Elika any time triggering cutscenes whenever you want instead of them being forced to you, some people complained about the prince being a douchebag but i think he was ok Elika steals the show though.
The game is not perfect though for once it is very easy, battles are scarce, gameplay is repetitive and the game is very short it took me like 15 hrs to beat it on my first playthrough and another 15 hrs in getting all the trophies, there is hardly any replay value other than collecting all of the trophies/achievements wich arent that much of a challenge anyway but the game is so fun and it looks so good that you would want to play it again anyway im actually looking forward for the sequel.

Tonight im gonna start Fallout 3, it was IGN's game of the year so im very excited about it.

The last P of P I played was the original! Don't like the 'can't die' idea on this one, most of the fun of the first was watching yourself die gruesomely if you missed a jump by a couple of pixels... ok, maybe not 'fun'.

My first game ever? Probably one of the Super Marios, the first I can remember being any good at was Lemmings.

Just got GTA 4 on PC, to be honest it's glorious that it runs. Not sure how 32-player deathmatches will hold up though, haha.

First game I played was Warcraft 1. I think it was 1994 or something.

YEAH LEMMINGS

I was playing that only recently...

My first game was probably Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System... or maybe Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

Yes... so hard. If the Master System had had a "save" function, then it would have been possible... but I hardly ever got very far at all.

The mobs in the game had the most unpredictable movements I have ever seen in a game. Hehe. Fun times though, since the game came with the system too. The Sega Master System had a 3.8 mhZ processor, haha. Jesus so many years have passed.

3.8 MHz haha!

Anyway, you should check out some videos of Alex Kidd on Youtube, it's especially cool to see the final levels if you haven't beaten it.

There was a site I found where you could play it. I think it's here...

http://www.retrouprising.com/play/Sega- ... -World.php

Yep, still hard.

Just a few days ago I picked up Diablo 2 out of curiosity, and I have to say that although the graphics are dated, it's still one of the best dungeon RPG games I ever played.

Can't wait until Diablo 3 comes out.

Bioshock! Got it working fairly quickly, had a problem with the sound which was resolved fast after a googe, the game itself is gorgeous graphically, love the plasmids, don't love how damn tough the big daddies are (do they respawn?). Been freeing the little sisters, too weird. The shotgun is annoying. Totally hooked!

Big daddies respawn just like the splicers. If you got all the little sisters on the level, they'll just bang on the vent for a bit and continue on their patrol. I don't think they are that though. If you are fighting against the Rosie version, have the telekinesis plasmid to return his proximity mines and the machine gun with AP rounds on short bursts. If you're good it will take you no more than 2 medkits to kill him. Of course there is nothing that 5-6 frag grenades can't fix if you don't have special ammunitions for the other weapons. If you are against the drill version (tougher than the Rosie for sure), I recommend the shotgun with the damage increase upgrade and electric buck. Wait for him to close on you with his charge then put a slug in him and he'll stop because of the shock (like when you hit a splicer with the bolt plasmid). That will give you time to empty the shotgun or move to a safer distance. Early in the game special ammo and frag grenades are scarce, but once you start getting components for the U-Invent it's a breeze. And I always had full amount of cash to spend on stuff so I was always stoked.

Btw, what do you find annoying about the shotgun? The small loading capacity ? Imo it's one of the best weapons in the game.

Oh did I mention I love the game. :P Finished it twice - one bad, one good.

Slow reload, yeah. I tend to use all my ammo on the b-d's just strafing and shooting, FPS style. Setting them on fire doesn't seem to do much damage, although I haven't tried the Freeze one yet (how cool are the plasmids, seriously? Lightning in your veins, icicles through your hand...). Only taken two or three of the fuckers down so far. Loving it, indeed.
