I got Dead Space for Christmas, but didn't pop it in for the first time till just the other day. Wow! What a completely awesome game! Love the weaponry, love the dismemberment tactic, love the cheap scares. The survival horror genre works very well in a space environment in my opinion, giving it the Event Horizon like atmosphere.

Was sort of interested in that, let me know if the viewpoint causes problems.

Plus, rewatched Event Horizon the other week and it's aged badly.

I´ve been playing Fallout 3 like crazy, holy shit is this game fun or what, maybe is because i've never played Oblivion or any game like it but im having blast playing it, i love all of the freedom the game gives you and how funny some of the choices are, VATS is just great i love seeing heads and limbs blown off, im level 12 right now and it feels like there is a million things to do, i cant wait to finish it so i can try playing it as a bad guy.

Fallout 3 is awesome, but last time I played I got a nasty headache. So I haven't played it since. (this was over a month ago, ) I think though the reason I got such a nasty headache was because of the screen I play on. 80 inches.

I've started playing CoD4 online again. I am now officially done with CoD5 online. CoD4 is just so much better. I will beat the main story to CoD5 and give the zombie thing a go, but either than that I am done. Oh and I have been doing good online with CoD4. Pretty consistently in the 15 to 22 kill area, and that doesn't really change if I snipe, run around with RPD, shotgun w\RPG, or M16.

I have also started playing GTA IV again, even though my 360 doesn't like it. I have been playing both on and offline. Got past a few missions I was stuck on and am now around the 35% completion. So I still have a long way to go.

And lastly, I am in the stanley cup finals for NHL 09 with a 1-0 series lead over Columbus (yeah columbus). Game 1 was an intense defensive battle, final score 4-2. I put in an empty net goal to seal the deal. I don't think I will have such an easy time with Columbus like I did with NYI, Buffalo and Carolina. Picking up Joe Sakic at the trade deadline has really payed off for me. He's only got 6 goals in the playoffs, but he has chemistry with everybody and he is always in the open to deliver or recieve passes. BEST HOCKEY GAME EVER.

that is all...

By viewpoint, do you mean that its in 3rd person? That doesn't bother me at all, but then again I play Gears of War all the time and it has the same viewpoint.

Dead Space has to be my most pleasant surprise of '08 games. I figured I'd like it, but not nearly this much. Between it and Left 4 Dead online, all my other games are collecting dust.

Those bastards just had to go for The Boys Are Back in Town huh? So many better Lizzy songs they could've picked. Oh well, at least Am I Evil? is on there, and Mercyful Fate and AIC were nice choices as well.

I got Left 4 Dead for christmas, and I have only beat the first part. I am waiting patiently to beat it, Gears 2, CoD5, and Fable 2 with my buddy. We always beat the co-op games together. Plus he's got both Resistence games, so this weekend should be tons of fun for teh video gamez.

Have you downloaded the Resident Evil 5 demo yet? It came out today, and it has co-op. Pretty awesome but the controls will take some getting used to.

When you guys play L4D, make sure you check out Versus Mode. Being the infected for a change is a lot of fun.

I haven't been online yet, but now I definitely will be just to download that. I did play RE4 a little, so I am sure I wll be ok with the controls.

And yeah I have played a little bit of versus in L4D, I like the warning you get. We strongly suggest playing the story before going online.

Oh, I heard that it can be annoying as your view gets blocked easily. Not true, huh.

What cards do you have on your deck? I suggest that either you build a lot of villagers but have many military cards, or you have a deck that increases the gather rates and focus more on building many units. I'm guessing your bro is a rusher?

Hmm, I'm pretty far through it (Chapter 8) and I've yet to have my view blocked. The controls and camera angle are both stellar in my opinion.

That's the MMO right? I played it for a while and if you want to play and MMORPG, you might as well play Warcraft. GW is pretty shit IMO, if I remember there are only 20 levels.

Downloaded the RE5 demo. Very consistent with the RE4 formula. I still have high hopes for this game but it doesn't feel like they've changed much. Oh well why try to fix it if its not broken right?
