I watched part of a Red Wings-Penguins game earlier today. Actually pretty cool, really really similar to lacrosse, which I play. It is a bit tedious though--any sport that has two or three goals a game is kinda boring for me.

This was a surprisingly boring game, though (surprising because the Red Wings are one of the best offensive teams and didn't do much, and because the Pens have some of the best players in the league who didn't do much). Compare that to the Red Wings game versus Edmonton the day before, where they won 8-3, or today's more exciting Philly vs. Atlanta game.

Yea walnut, I saw Hagman's goal. It was a great individual effort. I believe we have the Leafs in our house next week. Who are the Habs??? It must be a Canadian thing or something...

Habs = Montreal Canadiens

ever notice the little H in their toilet seat?

I loved the game. To see Cindy crying on the bench at the end of the game was perfect.

Aren't you from Arizona? Why didn't you watch the Phoenix game the other day?

Cause I've never watched hockey before in my life. Haha. The other game was nationally televised so it just happened to be on when I turned on the TV.

That would of been a horrible first game for him to watch. You can be so mean. :dio:

No tears, but he had his head down and had the lower lip twitch.

Yea I realied shortly after my post that the Habs were the Canadians. I never saw the H but now I do. I'm going to be missing the Cats play because I have rugby practice. It sucks. I'm sure they'll win though.

Yep. Our team is getting raped all over. If we don't actually start playing and if our goalies don't start not letting goals in, we could be out of a playoff spot in a couple of days, which would have been unthinkable three weeks ago.

Walnut, sorry about the game tonight. I really do, genuinely feel bad for you.

The Leaf's need to get rid of Toskala. He is a sieve...

Toskala was good until the 3rd, then he turned into his old self. But that stacked pad-slid save he made was pretty fancy. And we will not get rid of Tosky 'cause we need to lose this year, and he is doing just that for us, losing.

Oh and Jeff, I kinda told you. He is a horse.

The goal in OT wasn't Toskala's fault. That was just great ice vision by Stillman and a rocket by Zednik, who had an amazing game on the one year anny of his throat getting slashed.

But seriously, Toskala has a 4 goal a night stat. The Leaf's need a new goalie.

The Panthers have a big stretch ahead of them and I'll be missing the game again tomorrow due to rugby practice. =(

NO

We keep Toskala to help us lose.

We need to lose, and he is doing a fine job at that.

I understand that you guys need Toskala to lose and get you guys a better draft pick. That's kind of funny. I don't know much about the draft prospects because they're either from Europe, Canadian Juniors, or College Hockey; which is basically never televised.

The Leaf's need a goalie. Bad. Are there any out there worth drafting high???

No goalies worth drafting in the first round, but there are rumors that the Leafs are tarrgeting a goalie in the second round.

I like his name.

Oliver Roy.

Yep, the son of Patrick.

Plus we have 2 goalie prospects in Pogge and Reimer.
