The Wii also has some more mature games coming out (that are also Wii exclusive) like:

The Conduit
MadWorld

But either than that, my Wii has been a waste of money. If those 2 games suck, then I am selling my Wii to the highest bidder.

I just played Killzone 2 on a fullHD screen and i still don't think it can beat Crysis visuals. It gets very close though. Crysis is truly a game ahead of its time.

Ordered some slightly-older-than-new games in my most recent Amazon order, anyone heard of these?

Assassin's Creed (yeah I know you've heard of this)
Timeshift
Pariah
XIII
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl

XIII the cartoonish fps? Always wanted to check that out.

STALKER is one of the most performance demanding games out there (the new one even more), but I've heard it's great if you are into tactial/difficul shooters. A mix between an FPS and an RPG (like fallout 3) only it leans more on the FPS side.

Yep. :) And yep. :)

Did anyone ever play Prey? I know it has portals and you can't die, just wondering, since for a while ages ago it was very hyped.

Bought it for a fiver, finished the single player in one day, didn't try the multiplayer. The story is pretty good, with some nice twists in the plot, and the portals and gravity inversions are fun, but the weapons are rather uninspired. I wouldn't spend more money on it than I did.

These arrived today, along with GTA Vice City. Awesome.

Meh, plots in games are often rather overrated I find, but it looks different enough to be fun for a while. I certainly won't be spending more than a few Pounds on it. Cheers.

The more I see that game, the more dull it looks. Probably nowhere near as fun as running people over on a police motorbike with a leopardskin cowboy hat and silly fake glasses! And yeah, I keep meaning to check Portal out...

Yeah, I've been playing for long too.. Followed the main quest for a bit before wandering off and doing other side quests. Everything is so interesting.

Well, everything goes faster when you're reaching the end of the main quest. I ended it as "Very Evil". Hah, I was actually a nice bloke before I started nuking every scavenger, trader etc. I came accross in teh wasteland and stealing their stuff. I never intended to be evil.

Just greed, eh? How metaphorical for life.

So, my advice to everyone is do not buy XIII, because it won't install if you have a CD writer. Fortunately, I only paid a pittance for it, but it's still rather annoying.

Recently been playing GTA San Andreas and Timeshift, anyways. Should get Mass Effect out again and finish that, think I'm on the last level but it kind of disappointed me after the alien woman showed up at my bedroom door and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Started Assassin's Creed last night. Woo, pretty! And it works great, too, despite my initial worries that Vista 64 wouldn't do the job. Well, :D

So GTA4: The Lost and the Damned is like awesome.

If you have a 360 and X-Box Live, do yourself a favour and download this.

I just got GTA4 about a month ago, so I'm not very far into it yet. I'm thinking I'll finish more of it before going for L&D.

Have you got to the schlong scene yet? Avert thine eyes! Fox News will have a field day with that when word gets out.
