I was going to put Where the Wild Things Are in my list, but it really didn't do anything for me.

...meh.

Cromwell was badly miscast as Poppy.

Is it just me, or is Stacy Keach resembling Larry Flynt more and more as the years go on?

Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels

Very good, a little incoherent with the story, but very entertaining nonetheless.

Snatch

Loved this a lot more than LS&TSB. Story was once again a bit incoherent, but again that didn't lessen the enjoyment at all.

Coen brothers' movies only work in the US because everyone has a gun in the house. That said, Burn After Reading is awesome.

The Escapist - A bit cliched, but Brian Cox was good.

yes they do

Nah, that wasn't serious, but I was watching Burn After Reading the other day and when Chad gets killed I thought "they always have people shooting other people in someone's house. How would they do that in, say, Switzerland? No one keeps a gun in the house." Just a humorous thought.

Why? Her voice is annoying but she isn't an awful character.

I dunno, I think it's that something about what her character's doing goes totally against my sense of justice. The guy might be a paedo (or not, I'm not convinced yet), but some 14 year old doesn't have the moral authority to do anything like what she does.

Just watched The Descent. First movie in a fair while to genuinely scare me.

The whole point was that she didn't do anything.

Recently I watched:

The Twilight Samurai, which was about the samurai during the late Tokugawa. They did a pretty good job with their portrayal of the samurai at the time period, which was appreciated.

Right at Your Door. Rory Cochrane still has my goodwill for playing Slater in Dazed and Confused. The premise of this movie was good, but I thought the twist ending was lame.

Also watched Do the Right Thing recently, as well as the latter half of Falling Down.

Yeah I finished it. I still didn't approve of what she did. What Zad said isn't true. She did enough. The main point of the movie was the inversion of the roles of predator and prey. But still, no matter how disgusting the guy's actions might possibly have been (because you never know for sure) what she did was the wrong method of applying justice.

I watched Silence Of The Lambs the other day. My, aren't cannibals and cross-dressing serial killers totally the wrong sort of people?
