I've to disagree with you this time mate. It's true that this album is more aggressive, less atmospheric than
Hrimthursum, but the blackened epic melodies are still there. And a song about la Santisima Muerte (Holy Death), who's quite popular here in Mexico, made me smile
I do agree that
Hrimthursum is a bit better, but
Death to All will end in my
top 5 Death Metal releases of the year, I'm quite sure. Give it more time Alex, you won't regret it

You were expecting another sound, it's obvious you're not in the mood for this right now, but you'll be later. When I first heard
Verisäkeet (Moonsorrow's fourth album) I didn't like at all. I missed the bombastic epicness and folky melodies of the first three albums, but now I love it. Same thing happened with
Deathspell Omega, it took me 3 years to understand
Si Monvmentvm Reqvires, Circvmspice
Just to clarify,
Death to All is not as good those two godly (or unglody) early mentioned albums, but it's a very solid effort in a quite slow year (quality, not quantity) for Death Metal.
