I don't know if I can get the multiplayer to work. Doesn't it need a crack or something?

What the fuck, is the single player THAT short? I finished it in like 6 hours! And it's taking up 6 bloody GB of space! Fuck that.

Its multiplayer is the real deal. The campaign is just a first taste.

Yeah but I can't get the multiplayer to work, it's a downloaded version and my code's always being used.

Yeah. Once I get the money for it. I've still got a deposit on a new guitar to pay and 600 bucks to give to Habitat for Humanity.

CoD4 is more important than charity.

I know there's better charities, but Habitat for Humanity was doing its thing so I signed up. I was supposed to fundraise for it, but I didn't do anything so now I've got a big 600 fr pledge to fill.

Silent Hill 2 & 3 again. A couple of my all-time favorites.

Yeah mine too, i think in story and overall atmosphere 2 is the winner, but in gameplay i prefer 3, turning the puzzles on hard can be quite a challenge plus you get lots of weapons to play with, too bad the new ones doesnt have challenging puzzles anymore, what do you think of homecoming?

2 is definately my favorite between 2 and 3. While the game is more challenging, and the atmosphere is more aggressive in 3, the overall disturbing feeling of 2 just really gets to me, and affects me on a much deeper level than any other game I can think of.

I haven't played Homecoming, but I might rent it someday. I've heard a lot of mixed things about it, so I'm not really expecting much. :\

All this talk of CoD4 got me playing it last night online.

As far as scores go on the consoles, I was doing pretty damn good. I started off shitty, but my second half I was dominant. Ended 2 matches in a row with a 15 kill streak. I know that is kind apointless, cause after you get your 7th kill you should just die and let the streak start over again, but I have too much pride to do that. Anyway, my last match was an impressive 26 and 3. P90 with bandolier, stopping power, and steady aim. As well as red dot scope.

Remember these scores are on the 360, not PC.

sorry i only saw this now, i haven't been on this thread very often because my gaming habits change maybe once a year lol.

anyway, on CoD4:
i'm not a fan of hardcore mode, which you (Karma) favour. my first FPS experience was Goldeneye and my first online experience was Enemy Territory, two relatively arcadey games, which should explain my distaste for more realistic shooters.

i love domination and HQ, but the former seems less and less popular and the for the latter the fastest servers playing it have that thing where if you die defending you have to wait lkike up to a minute until you respawn. i can't handle such long periods of forced inactivity!
i occasionally play team deathmatch but most of the time i'm at the JFDHS (or something) free-for-all server. what a shitty clan btw lol.

my favourite weapons are the SAW (though according to a guide i read the RPD is the best LMG, have to try it myself) with grip and stopping power and the ak47/ak47u and p90 with stopping power. i always use steady aim, but i''m considering dropping stopping power in favour of juggernaut or something for the ak47 which already does considerable damage by itself.
add-on is red dot sight except with LMGs, perk 1 is 3x stun grenades.

i never camp, i'm more of a 'prowler', sticking around certain parts of the map. i die a lot, even when i win.

if you guys are up for it i'd be happy to play, especially now that i'm on holiday. my screen name is Bloody-Nine.

RPD IMO is by far the best LMG. Grip, stopping power, and extreme conditiong. Best combo ever.

Gears Of War - halfway through or a bit more I guess. Good game.

I wonder what the difference with the PC version is, then. Smaller amount of players on the server? Less time per map?

I haven't played CoD4 in a while due to Punkbuster acting up. So I play CoD:WaW instead.

I don't do a lot of sprinting with LMG's, honestly. Try swapping Extreme Conditioning for Deep Impact, you'll do a lot more damage.

I prefer HC as it doesn't make sniper rifles redundant and doesn't force you into taking Stopping Power. And I absolutely detest free for all, there's just no tactics involved. TDM actually has you focus on flanking the opponent's spawning positions, and when succesful, they spawn elsewhere and you're forced to move. It's a lot more involving than it looks at first.

My favourite build remains silenced MP5 + Desert Eagle + 1 frag/1stun + UAV Jammer + Extreme Conditioning + Bandolier. I absolutely slaughter on Overgrown and Bloc. On HC, that is.

Perhaps we can get together this evening or so, 1 on 1 on Shipment?
