That's my biggest problem with PC gaming. After a year or 2, your PC starts to really show it's age. Where consoles are like a fine wine, they get better with time.

yea but controllers + FPS = total fail.
At least for me... Can't beat keyboard and mouse.

Plus one. How people get headshots with a gamepad is beyond me.

With skill.

+1.

I have gotten all the head shot challenges in CoD4. So yeah, you guys suck!

In case anyone missed MS's E3 conference, this is what was shown:

-Crackdown 2
-Splinter Cell: Conviction
-Halo 3: ODST
-Halo Reach
-Metal Gear Solid Rising
-Forza 3
-Alan Wake
-Project Natal (Full body motion camera controller)
-last.fm for Xbox Live
-Facebook and Twitter for Xbox Live

Overall, a pretty outstanding showing!

You forgot the biggest game of all, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! The gameplay footage was awesome. And what about Left 4 Dead 2? You forgot about that... For shame Adam, for shame.

Well, I didn't actually see it. I was getting my information secondhand, from my brother. He did mention Modern Warfare 2, but we all knew that was coming. I was focusing on the bigger announcements, like MGS and a new Halo.

I'll watch a vid of it later when I get home. He said Crackdown 2 and Alan Wake looked awesome.

Crackdwon 2 was just a trailer, no gameplay footage. Left 4 Dead 2 looks awesome and Alan Wake looked cool but I need to see more of it.

As for Modern Warfare 2, they actually showed gameplay footage. Your guy climbing an icy mountian, getting in a pretty big firefight and then ending the level on the snowmobiles. Can't friggin wait.

As for Halo, I wonder what Reach will be...

So... It's like E3 bitches, where is everybody?

The team that is making Crackdwon has teamed up with original GTA developer to make a new sandbox style game. Called APB, it is an open world MMO. And it looks freakin' sweet.

Yeah, APB has potential, that's for sure.

I just watched the MS press conference. That COD demo was badass. Ice climbing and Aliens style motion sensors on the rifles? Sign me up! Looks sweet.

I'm kind of disappointed they're making another Left4Dead this soon. I was hoping for more DLC for the first one, which isn't even a year old yet.

Alan Wake is gonna be fucking epic. I have been waiting for that game for over 2 years now, and it looks awesome so far. Speaking of awesome, Splinter Cell: Conviction, holy shit! Sam turned into a more sadistic Jason Bourne. That's going to be a day one purchase for me, I love the Splinter Cell series.

As for the motion camera, I'm a little skeptical about that one, but it could be cool. We'll see I guess. I did think it was pretty funny that Tony Hawk came out and did his demo, and then the skateboarding portion of the motion camera demo just shit all over him. I had a good laugh at that one. Looks like your games not as cutting edge as you thought, huh Tony?

I'm sure Tony doesn't really care all that much. No matter what, he will make his money. I'm sure maybe the MAN in him will get a little upset and his pride may take a hit, but when he gets his next paycheck I am sure he wont give 2 shits.

Splinter Cell did look cool, I'll admit that. It's just, I was never a big fan of the series. It was one of those games that I had more fun watching my friend play then me actually playing it. So I will see with that one.

Alan Wake is somewhat new to me. I have only really started to hear about these last few months, and what I saw today was really the first time I have shown any interest in it. The demo looked good, but like Splinter Cell I will have to wait and see/hear more about it. Maybe a playable demo on X-Box Live in the future...

So I beat the main quest in Oblivion today. So basically, I'm done with the game...did all the faction quests, Arena, Knights of the Nine, etc. It really made me kinda sad, my character has like a special place in my heart :P. But really, my favorite game of all time...so fucking amazing.

And also, I thought about the fact that there will probably be a sequel and almost jizzed my pants.

Well, Project Natal probably won't be finished for a long time, while Tony's game is coming soon.

I'm also very sceptical about Project Natal. I'm convinced it's going to be another Wii where they promise a lot of amazing shit, but in the end it's just a false sense of immersion. The silliest part about the presentation was when they were showing how to navigate the dashboard and the part with Milo. The navigation part is idiotic because it would get really tedious flipping around with your arms like that. The part with Milo was just stupid with the scripted dialogue that's supposed to look natural. In the end I think most gamers are just going to use a controller for playing no matter that they come up with. I just don't see what types of games you would be able to play with a system like that. Sure, you could play simple games like the stuff for the EyeToy, but how about "real" games like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Rising, Splinter Cell? No way.

Bethesda is incredibly busy working on several other games, so don't hold your breath.

I can wait...I've only been playing Oblivion for two-odd years. Plus I've got Fallout 3, which I've yet to start.

They are working on: Fallout 3 DLC for both PS3 and 360, Wet, Rogue Warrior, Fallout: New Vegas, Brink, plus whatever else they have yet to announce.

That right there is a very good list of games. I personally want to see more of Brink.

The Elder Scrolls V will be announced at E3. The additional FO3 DLC packages will be done by fall 2009, and New Vegas is outsourced to Obsidian Entertainment.

My excitement up until yesterday was mostly because of the developer Remedy (of Max Payne fame). That and the story sounds extremely unique.

So you didn't play Splilnter Cell: Double Agent? I thought I saw some promotion on IGN where you could get it for $5. You should check it out, its one of my favorite games of this gen. Kind of Jack Bauer going undercover type storyline, awesome and very replayable.

I'm working on the Shivering Isles expansion pack now. What's the Knights of the Nine? I've almost done everything else, main quest, arena, guilds...

Knights of the Nine was a DLC pack released shortly after Oblivion itself.
