I'm going to try my hand at applying at Google. I have a friend who went through their interview process and didn't get a job there, but I think I'd really like to give them a shot, since I found an open position that desires many of my particular skills (C++, Java, SQL, etc.).

Good luck! Remember to write a backdoor in so the Chinese can still get porn.

3 or 4 guys from my course applied to Google for an internship in a position specifically related to Portugal, all but one were turned down because of lack of work experience. hopefully because you worked before in your field they'll be satisfied about that... good luck!

Thanks. I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. But I will do my best. From what I've read out of their website, Google sounds like it would be a better work environment (for me) than Microsoft was when I interviewed with them back in March.

both companies consistently place very highly on 'best place to work' rankings. Google does seem much more focused on letting people do their own thing, though.

Good old India, only years behind the rest of the world:

Still, little steps and all that.

30 years behind isn't too bad seeing as how they gained independence 60 years ago... took the US like 200 years to allow gays to have sex.

In Britain sodomy was still a crime in the 60s, if I remember correctly.

Bestiality is under the umbrella of sodomy.

Btw, if you fuck a frozen rooster does this make you guilty of bestiality, homosexuality and necrophilia all at once?

well for a nation only 60 or so years out of British rule and with deeply-ingrained traditions literally thousands of years old, i'd say that's not bad at all, btw.

it'll probably make you guilty of all those things but then since your dick will get frostbite and stop working anyone who would sentence you to jail will probably just feel sorry for you and let you go.
