Yay, no more Billy. I'm still at the beginning but so far it's good.

GoW kind of sucks for the PC IMO. It's one of those games that should just stay for the console. A shame though since the engine is amazing. (Unreal 3 engine, no shit it's good.)

You can tell it's a quick console port. I hate all that PRESS START TO GO bullshit, and the PRESS X BUTTON NOW. Lazy old Microsoft.

I'd recommend to plug in a Xbox 360 cord-controller and play like it's supposed to. And, most important of all, in a comfy couch with a friend in Co-op.
Playing GoW by yourself is fine, but it's one of the best action games ever with company. Preferably someone that enjoys chainsaws.

I'm ending my summer game purchases with two Wii downloads: World Of Goo for WiiWare and Waverace 64 for the Virtual Console.

It is. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised by it.

Since have a few extra bucks on my WiiWare account, I've decided I may also pick up Cruis'n USA for the Wii VC. I remember borrowing it from a friend (whom I still hang out with) around the time I started high school. It was kind of the Power Rangers of video games: Something you enjoyed but didn't dare admit to anybody else that you enjoyed. It was stupid, mindless, but entertaining nonetheless. And you can't tell me driving cross country and seeing all those different landmarks wasn't at least a little cool/nifty at the time.

I totally screwed up in The Wind Waker. I missed a ton of items that I may never be able to get again, I'd probably need to spend five hours at once just scrounging through the different islands looking for treasure, etc.

So I deleted my save, bought a strategy guide on Amazon.com, and will try to play through the whole game (start to finish) with it. I usually hate using strategy guides, but I think if I really want to finish this game during the summer (or even the early Fall), it's necessary to have one.

I don't see why you'd delete your game though. Now it'll just take more time to find those items, and playing Zelda with a strategy guide=boo. Anyway, out of all Zelda games, The Wind Waker is the most tedious for finding all the heart pieces/bottles/all that, because finding treasure charts is pretty much the least fun thing ever after three times, so I wouldn't worry too much about it

That's my problem with The Wind Waker: It's too "collect-a-thonish." That's why I'm using a strategy guide (which I've never done for a Zelda game before, save for occasionally looking up some hints/tips online when I was stuck or felt I was missing something). Hopefully, Twilight Princess won't be as annoying in this respect.

For example, I don't have enough Knight's Crests for the Hurricane Spin (I skipped most of those "item balls" when fighting in Hyrule Castle) and basically have no way of ever getting any again until Ganon's castle. And, supposedly, I need the Hurricane Spin for a lot of the later bosses.

On the topic of Zelda, I know these videos have become an old joke in the internet community, but they're still hilarious (hence my new avatar):

Cartridge. I found it in my car after like three years--I used to play it on long car rides and it had been in a seat pocket since then. And even then, I had had it since I was like eight. So I'm finally finishing up :D
