Tin Cup.

Kevin Costner redeems himself after the prior year's dismal Waterworld and actually stars in a pretty worthwhile golf comedy/drama.

Watchmen. Entertaining and very pretty action movie that had great potential but failed to realize the ideas simply because, in the end, it's a hollywood production and they are masters on making all movies alike.

it's like the Shield, but more Hollywood. I liked it, but I'd rather just watch any one or two episodes of the Shield. But anybody on the fence about watching the Shield should watch this movie to get a feel as to what it's about. Ironically, lazy eye'd Forrest Whittaker is in this movie and is in the Shield.

Serenity. Great sci-fi action/drama. Yes there might have been one or two things that made you go HhHHHmmmmm, but this is a movie you watch for the entertainment and awesomeness of space and all that jazz.

Three big hmmms: testing a new method on 30 million people, how scientific. And while they were having a live videofeed with no lag what so ever with Mr Universe I do think they could have just sent him the film clip. Would not have made for much of an ending of course. Last of all, how the hell could those nutjob Reavers maneuver spaceships the way they were flippin all the time.

Yeah, I liked the Firefly explanation of Reavers more than the movie's. If you haven't watched the show (if you haven't, and you enjoyed Serenity, you definately should), they were believed to have been settlers or travelers who had been out to long in the void or seen the edge of space or some business and that drove them insane.

Ditto. I wondered how these bloodthirsty savages that would rape your face to death managed to, y'know, fly massive spaceships as well, but I do like the film. Even technically, the opening unbroken camera shot is interesting, so it doesn't fail artistically and has a genuinely good, underrated actor in Chiwetel Ejiofor. Not to say the rest aren't good, but they are a bit C-list, bless. Saw Jewel Staite in an episode of X Files last night.

Also watched some Bill Pullman thing called Surveillance, which was ok in a sort of TWIST! thriller, but took far too long to get going and was a bit anticlimatic.

They actually speak of this in the movie, before they discover Miranda. It's a much better explanation. Imagine to look upon total nothingness.
Might just look up the series then. :)

Ineed some nice footage throughout the film and Chiwetel was badass. :dio:

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - It was impressive/interesting how they put the camera in the dude's head for a lot of the movie, but it was pretty annoying to actually watch.

Slumdog Millionaire - Pretty good movie. Weird watching it since lots of stuff that should have been pretty extreme/emotional, like his mom getting killed, was just like "oh... ok."

Away We Go--very good. A romcom that I liked...and I don't really like romcoms...

Anchorman--first time I've watched this in a while, still pretty funny. It's weird to see how many of the people in this movie are now big in comedy even though they were relatively unknown when they made it (Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Seth Rogen)

Pathology - Cheesy thriller with lots of boobies about doctors who kill people. It was written by the dudes who did Crank and probably would've been better if they'd directed it too because it got too slow and srs in a couple parts.

Oh dude "get off my lawn" is only the tip of the iceberg. It's so great.

Yeah for being such a badass the film isn't about him physically badassing people (most of the time) so it's not too ridiculous. Really good film.

Halfway through Bad Biology I had to go to sleep but will finish it soon.

Girl with six clitorises and a flair for murder meets boy with three foot rebellious cock and horse tranquiliser habit, from the director of Basket Case.

Kontroll and Irreversible.

Kontroll was interesting. I think the internet ruined Irreversible for me. I need to go into more movies blind.

This is true. I actually finished watching it two nights ago and it gets more fun to watch after the first half hour.
