Thought more of you would be into the idea. Just something about metalheads and tattoos seems to connect in my head.

As to those of you who think women with tattoos are unattractive...WTF!!! lol, I really wasn't expecting that. A woman could honestly have an ugly face, but if she has a good body with beautiful art all over it....there's no question. I so would.

Anyway, as for mintrude, if you like the idea of it, don't be scared man. Certain places are more painful sure, but there's places where it is utterly painless. As I said, I have a small one on my wrist, and at WORST I could describe the experience of getting it as "mild discomfort".

And Banshee, if you ever want to post pics of your tatts, feel free. They sound awesome and I love checking out people's work.

Anyway, in response to zad...I guess I don't know! I honestly didn't think about why I find it so hot until just now.

I suppose the first notion that comes to mind is that a woman willing to cover herself in art like that, without regard for "fitting in", or you know, worrying about her career, or whatever, has probably got the kind of personality i'm very attracted to.

I like bold girls who aren't afraid to tell the world to go fuck itself. So I guess it's probably psychological.

dislike of tattoos on women is probably rooted in patriarchal notions of purity that infuse today's society and the thinking of its citizens.

I find tattooed women incredibly hot.

I'm all about patriarchy instilling abstract notions in women in order to dominate but really I just don't like tattoos in general and want my woman's flesh not smeared with ink just as I don't want to be smeared in ink.

Eeeeeh. I'm not totally against tattoos on women, but I just really don't like the ones in that picture. At all.

A female friend of mine said that if she were to have a tattoo, she'd have a small tattoo of Tetris blocks on the side of her lower leg. That's awesome. I just think that the tattoos from that picture are a little... trashy.

But that's really high quality work she's got on her. The lines are bold, the design is intricate, but not messy.

Look at the bird (eagle? hawk?) on her right side (our left). It's cool. The artwork is interesting, a style not seen too often for tatts. Besides that, whoever worked on her has a lot of experience. The colours add tone and depth without detracting from the focal points.

Anyway. I guess all I'm saying is, i don't understand how it's trashy. Seems like fine, fine work to me.
