Riddle me this batman, why would one listen to MW when one can listen to S.O.D.? How on earth are they "brilliant" when all they seem to do is try to be the new S.O.D. or Suicidal Tendencies? This isn't to say that new bands can't play in the old style, its just some bands aren't able to see the difference between "playing the same style" and "attempting to be"... *ducks the flying shit*
What? They're differant to both those bands. They have really melodic bits that neither SOD nor ST had, the lyrics aren't as emo as ST or as offensive as SOD and their live performances are better than ST, maybe not SOD but whatever.
So a luke warm "neither here nor there", watered down version ...and meh on the live shows. Not that impressive though. I've never personally seen SOD (the only one of the three I'm actually a fan of actually) or ST live beyond videos, but I have seen MW and wasn't overly impressed.

I don't understand how your point addressed the issue whatsoever, thats like me saying "why listen to SOD or ST when I can listen to Metallica?" the bands do not have enough in common (save for genre) for you to say MW are ripping them off. Bullshit.
Its been a while since I've listened to any MW material (not an attempt to duck out, but just an explanation of why I'm not being more song specific) but from what I recall I frequently heard quite a few "familiar" riffs. Throwing in melodic portions does not mean that they don't sound like they're trying way too hard to "be" their heroes, nor that they aren't blatantly taking a little too much influence in their songwriting, hell from what I recall the band members themselves practically admit to being S.O.D. and ST worship.
Will try to do my MW homework to better demonstrate my point since, as I said, I've heard them live plus their debut a few years back and never felt much inclined to revisit them.
