I forgot the Onslaught song to. But it's not exactly Thrash til death, it's Thrash til the Death, but still same thing.

I only have Power From Hell, though I always liked The Force a bit more.

The Force is the second best thrash album to come out of England, ever.

The first?

Sabbat - Dreamweavers or History of a Time to Come, haven't quite figured it out yet.

I knew you were gonna say that, and though I never quantify bands as "best" or "worst", I'd say that that is not an unreasonable assessment.

I usually keep away from best and worst tags, but England hasn't produced much quality thrash over the years, so it makes it quite easy to say what the top 3 are.

I never really thought about it.

Thrash till death has become such a slogan for the genre.

It honestly wasn't inspired by any single one of those tracks, at least not consciously.

We've so moved passed this conversation, keep up Bar.

Gimme a break!

I thought it was the Sauron song, for some reason.

But, yeah, those too, are possibilties...
haven't listened to Zombie Attack in a long time.

so which is it?

Just tryin' to answer the man.

Oh, and in the name of keeping up with the conversation, I always preferred Dreamweavers. just.

There has never been a big thrash scene in the UK anyway... So I guess it's not that hard to be one of the best...

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

For UK thrash, Xentrix were sorely underrated.

Shattered Existence = :dio:

Yeah but Sabbat is one of the best thrash bands ever, not only in the UK.

I must say I cannot remember a single French thrash band that made it to the first album back then... So, yes, you are right.

What was that French band back in the early 80's that had a song called "Coming To USA"?

I have no idea V.
Was it a thrash band?
Thinking about my previous post, I remembered Morsüre but they were more a punk/speed metal act than a geniune thrash band.

Not a Thrash band, traditional HM...

Haaaaaaaaaa, Got it! :D
But you lost me with spelling the title wrong ! It's "Going to USA" and the band was Warning. Actually, those lads were pretty good but I would say they were more hard rock than metal (huge AC/DC influence).

I see they're labeled as heavy/speed metal on MA...
Obviously, whoever as posted their profile either never heard them or has little knowledge in metal.

haha, that's it!

yeah, I agree about them being more hard rock, but they were touted as a Metal band over here.

You know that as well as I do, back in the early 80s hard rock and metal were fairly close genres.

what a masterpiece that 1st Warning album is! I consider it the french answer to Def Leppard's High&Dry . That incredible power ballad Tel Que tu l'Imaginais is out of this world.
