The comparison to the later works of Satyricon made my interest towards this band and album fade away a little. Do you think I'll like it? You know my tastes in BM, so let me know if I should try listening to Priviligivm.

It's not really like Satyricon, but the riffs do have a certain similar downtuned groove. SOTM are all about the slow, pounding atmosphere, though; I'd say they're certainly worth a listen.

I liked "Carved in Stigmata Wounds". Haven't heard of this band since. Will try this new one.

I like this album quite a bit. It's not amazing, and there are some Satyricon-ish guitar moments, but it's nothing extremely similar.

I think you should give it a listen, Alex.
