Memories of Murder - Really great murder mystery. The long shots worked really well. The only thing I would've changed is making the local detectives a little les duncey, although the acting was good enough that I liked them even though they were jerks.

Adam. A very interesting romantic comedy/character study involving a guy with Asperger's Syndrome.

I saw Sunshine. I thought it was amazing, a kind of Sci fi epic I hadn't seen in years. Unfortunately the third act turned into Event Horizon. Wow, what were they thinking?

Still worth a watch though.

Yeah, it all went a bit silly. Great opening act and middle, though.

Watchmen - Wayy too long, and a little bit boring. The new ending was tripe as well. I knew that book was far beyond the comprehension of your typical Hollywood studio, much like V For Vendetta. And like VFV, I was proven completely right. Just leave Alan Moore's stuff alone Hollywood. He's writing deep, meaningful character pieces that question humanity and society as wholes, not hashing out big budget action movie scripts. It was OK for what it was, but I had a hard time getting invested in it. losing the Black Freighter portion of the book also takes away part of the message of the story.

Waltz With Bashir - Cool animation and great music but the voiceovers ruined it for me.

Didn't they make a straight-to-dvd black freighter animated thing?

Also I hated how in the movie the characters all went into matrix like fights (Like Rorscach getting arrested, Rorscach and Nite Owl fighting Ozymandias)

Yeah Zack Snyder apparently hasn't realized those aren't cutting edge anymore.

I've heard it's complete shit. I think The Guardian scored that new Terminator film and GI Joe higher, which says it all.

It is quite love or hate with Tarantino, isn't it?

Eh, I can appreciate some of his stuff.

Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction - Yay
Reservoir Dogs - Yay, but overrated
Kill Bill 1 - Great if drunk, otherwise...
Kill Bill 2, Death Proof - Awful

I think that's all of them. Can't remember if he did True Romance or not, if he did that can go in with JB and PF.

Which says they probably don't understand much about movies. :) New Terminator is an abomination not many movies should be rated below it.
I'd go with IMDB most of the time I agree with the site.

Yeah True Romance is a Tarantino film. And I agree about Death Proof being awful.
