It's amazing what can fly right under your nose in your own hometown huh? I somehow missed this review originally (sorry Alex), but this is indeed awesome stuff. It looks just as strange to read as I'm sure it did to write, but Indianapolis is indeed becoming quite a bastion for traditional doom. With this band, The Gates of Slumber, and the annual Templars of Doom festival, I have to say I'm actually glad I live here! :D

I'm seeing them at a local bar later this month with Hull and a couple of doom bands I'm not familiar with. Should be fun.

This style somehow has been hitting the right spot for me lately. And isn't it indeed strange that Indy occupies an important spot in it? COuld be that Maryland (and its scene) are moving to mid-America. I am about 4 hrs to the east of Indy, a little too far away to go and see something in person. Detroit and Cleveland are my stomping grounds.
