Maybe Emery will do something funny :)

Anyway, finally a game we dominated last night, against the Panthers. Former leafer Harrison and habber Kostopolous got their first goals in their new yerseys. Harrison has been good the first couple of games actually, although he's just meant to be a reserve. I like what I'm seeing, and hopefully we'll crush the Bolts tonight. Back 2 back wins against the leagues most hated teams (for my part at least) would be nice.

I think you may be the only person in the world who hates Florida and Tampa Bay, nobody else cares enough to hate them.

The Kings are playing well so far! Kopitar and Smyth are on fire and have great chemistry together (16p in 4 games), Handzus is a defensive beast, Doughty is fantastic as always and Jack Johnson is finally looking like he's living up to his hype. Goaltending looks decent too. Though the penalty kill and face offs are atrocious, those were areas of strength last season and should hopefully improve.

The Leafs are disappointing. I guess a slow start is to be expected with so many new faces, especially on the blueline. Let's hope they get their shit together or they'll be giving Taylor Hall to the Bruins

Should probably feel sorry for them, but those fans are so awful. Division rivals as well, remember.

The Leafs are pathetic. I am sad to cheer for them. They have no heart, no determination, and I am really starting to question Ron Wilson as a coach. At first he never plays Colton Orr, then last night he plays Orr up over 10 minutes and all he did was take stupid penalties. Toskala is playing totally brutal. I wouldn't blame all 5 goals against on him last night, but he should of had at least 3 of them. That Matt Cooke goal was atrocious. Sure, Kaberle had him screened, but still it was a nothing shot that went right over Toskalas shoulder. Stajan, Grabovski, Blake, and Ponikarovski have been invisible. Yeah Stajan leads the teams in goals, but all his goals were from beautiful passes by somebody else where he just tapped them in and on the powerplay I might add. Beuachemin had a bad start to the season, several giveaways and attempting hits that put him out of position, leading to odd man rushes and goals against. But lately he has stopped that, but now it seems that he has forgotten how to play offensively. He has a bomb of a shot, yet he seems to have forgotten how to shoot it. It's sad when Mike Komisarek and Jeff Finger are taking all the hard shots from the point.

Positives I have taken out of the season so far:

Viktor Stalberg, before injury, was the Leafs fastest sketer and hardest working player. Hopefully he is back from injury soon.

Jonas Gustavsson. The goals he has allowed have not been his fault. He was great against Washington and Ottawa. Too bad he is out for the rest of the week.

Hope for Phil Kessel to come in and net 20+ goals, becuase we need it.

Joey Macdonald. He was great for the Islanders last year, even thought the Islanders sucked last year. On the 30th team in the NHL he had an above .900 s/v%, Toskala was below .900 last season. With Gustavssons injury, Macdonald will get a chnace to steal the spotlight in Toronto. Hopefully he comes in a forces Wilson to sit Toskala until he gets his shit right upstairs.

those are the positives out of this season. If those are the best things I can get out of this season, then it's been a completely shit season. If the Leafs don't turn it around, then Brian Burke will burned at the stake. Trading away our 1st and 2nd for this year for a guy on IR. eughhhhh....

The schedules will pick up quite consideribly soon with the olympics not too far off. Also, the schedule after the olympics is crazy. Just look at it for the month of March. My pathetic/shit/heartless/disgusting/overpaid/garbage Leafers play every other day in March.

Hey, I know it's hard to stay positive after a horrible start and being the worst PK unit in the league, but it is the first five games. I'm not saying the Leafs are making the playoffs, but things can turn around. And if anyone can do it in the long term, it's Ron Wilson.

Pretty dissapointing road trip for the Habs- 3 games, three regulation losses. But aside from the Vancouver game, I'm happy to say that we finally showed some life- in the Calgary game we played well, and in the Edmonton game we were very good, and would have won but for some spotty goaltending. So there is still hope, and we will just have to destroy Colorado at the home opener thursday. Which I am now going to! Weeeeeeeee!

P.S. Whoever schedules the NHL is actually retarded. Every single year.

Kind words Brahm, but we have been beyond pathetic. This is the worst the Leafs have played in a long time.

Kings have won four in a row! :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio:

And man what a crazy comeback by the Hawks last night. I've gotta watch that game.

It was beautiful. For some odd reason, I didn't throw my remote at the TV/change the channel when the Flames put on that opening barrage. Normally I would, but I guess I was just happy to be watching a Hawks game (which will unfortunately be a rarity this season). Good thing I didn't, watching a huge comeback unfold like that was fun. I can only imagine what it would have been like to be at the United Center when Seabrook potted his goal in OT.

1 more regulation loss for my Leafers and we tie a record for worst start to a season. We are 0-5-1 now, the worst start is 0-6-1.

GO LEAFS GO!

Wow, crazy game tonight that we were unlucky not to win to be honest. We should've led them by 2 or 3 after the first, but Fleury was huge and they score the one chance they have. Typical. Anyway, second half was a little sloppy and Ward let in a goal that he normally should have. However the ridiculous saves he made in the third to keep it 2-2 after Whitney had a couple, were just out of this world. I can't be disappointed with one point earned though, and the way we fought back. The D is looking really good, and I can't wait to get Pitkanen back. Now Staal has to bring his A game and we can get things going.

Habs win! Woo! About time. Anyway, we've come off a five game losing streak, but I'm much happier with the way they've played in the past six games than in the two first games which we won. We're outplaying and outshooting teams- with good goaltending and a few more lucky bounces, we should do all right, even without Markov.

But, the real question is- will the Leafs set a new team record for worst start? Oh Toronto... Now you are too sad to even be made fun of.

already tied the recod for a worst start, one more loss and we break and set. With Bobby Lu and the 'Nucks in our sights, I'm sure we start the season 0-7-1.

Really fun game between the Habs and the Rangers last night; probably the most fun Habs game to watch all season. Cammie got a hat trick and the game winner in overtime, and my boy Gionta got two assists. Sweet!

Toronto, on the other hand... Well... Err... Ha?

Dunno what's gotten into the Canes lately. The puck doesn't bounce our way at least. I miss winning.
