Yeah I knew all that, I am pretty sure there is a petition on the net somewhere and I am pretty sure I signed it.

Anyway, picked up Borderlands today but probably wont play it til Friday night. Just too damn busy with work.

Jiggle physics?

Yeah. The laws of physics does not apply here. Im amazed that they had enough processing power in the Xbox 360 to make it happen.

Haha, did you put the age to 99? Great times.

I've heard about previous DoA-games (DoA 2-4 are awesome) that it's basically a juggle-slider in disguise but never thought about it much. Does it actually change the... dynamics of the game?

Sorry to hear that man, bummer. Hopefully it is easily replaced? I'm doing whatever I can to afford Ratchet & Clank's newest including selling some old games/systems, blood, sperm, bloody sperm, soul etc. Buddah! Zeus! God! Where are you guys!? Satan! You owe me one remember!

I restarted Jade Empire two days agao and can't stop playing it, the story and voiceacting are superb as is the game fun and the world cool. I've been taking my sweet time this trip through and its been a blast so far. My favorite Xbox game/ game of the last generation was Enclave. I've beaten that thing into submission beyond count, though Unreal Championship 2 probably holds second spot.

I need intel reports on Uncharted 2, Demon Soul and Brutal Legend STAT! :omfg:   :dio:

Heh, that's exactly what I've been thinking lately. I've bought Tools of Destruction and BiA: Hell's Highway about two months ago and haven't found the time to play either one.

Nice, you guys are in for one hell of a good time! Going from Up Your Arsenal to ToD is retardedly awesome. Insomniac is a great developer, ToD is one of my favorites, actually it is my favorite so far this gen. I played the demo last night for the new Ratchet and it looks great, I just wish I could've played as Ratchet himself. Its also really short, but oh well. Pretty game though, man I hope I can afford it.

Finished GTAIV last weekend, its an ok game but nowhere near the masterpiece most people claim it to be.

Gameplay isnt very varied and most missions are very samey and short, the game isnt very long either but it drags a little because of its repetitiveness, that is too bad because the parts where the game is fun are fucking awesome.

Controls are a mixed bag too, combat is usually fun but the auto aiming and cover systems are broken, driving its a bit awkward but you can get used to it so its not a big deal.

The date system is a piece of shit, really what a fucking chore its to date your stupid fucking needy friends only so they dont hate you and to give you craptastic perks that are nowhere near worth the fucking effort, again this is too bad because most of the characters are really good, it almost made me feel bad about giving them the middle finger (im sorry Brucie).

The story its good, really no complaints here, its not the best thing ever but it works, its also very funny in some parts.

In the end i did had fun with the game, i dont regret buying it but i dont think i will ever play it again 7.5 - 8.0 /10 .

Taking some time to roam around the Wastelands in Fallout 3. Pretty good game, combat is so-so but the atmosphere is what does it for me.

I just picked up Borderlands and i gotta say that i really like it, i'm not the biggest fan of Cell Shaded graphics but it somehow work very well with this game, it kinda reminds me of Diablo in that it is very loot driven, enemies drop money and weapons and you go around doing quest and gaining XP for every quest you turn in and every kill you get to level up your character increasing your stats and spending talent points to add new skills. I can't comment on the story yet though, i have not played enough of it. But its a fun game and a very well done FPS/RPG hybrid.

I can't think of anything to play. Meh. Don't feel like shooting aliens, so my xbox is useless, and am finally bored of Deus Ex (it gets to that point once you get to Area 51 on Realistic using only nonlethal weapons), and Rome Total War doesn't make any sense, I'm playing as Egypt and my 1,000+ strong armies can get routed by a 300-man force of phalanx pikemen. The heck?

Anyone got recommendations? PC probably can't run anything made after 2005 or 2006.

Sid Meier's games never get boring for me.

Looks too complicated to be fun right now, what with all the complicated stuff I have to understand for school.

From the top of my head, have you played World of Goo? Also, Audiosurf is always fun to pick out every once in a while.
Torchlight looks really interesting as well, single-player Diablo-esque game that will come in just a few days.

Do you auto-resolve your battles? Because you shouldn't, the computer often screws you up especially on higher difficulties. I presume you're fighting against Seleucid phalanxes, and Seleucids are pretty easy to break in the early game - Militia Hoplites and Levy Pikemen have low-low health, so send your own phalanxes in their fronts and your chariots around the sides. Concentrate on Antioch while posting a phalanx or three on all the bridges around it, and you can mop the Seleucids up in just a few turns.

Try Medieval 2, you might like that more. When playing as Egypt, you can call jihads ;)

Well, the phalanx can be pretty awesome against more undisciplined and lighter armed typed troops, both historically and in the game (though I never played too much of Rome TW, to be honest). It's also harder to fight a phalanx on a flat plain unless you can successfully flank them. Battles are about more than just numbers.

And Civ IV is always fun.
