Yeah, Lesnar presents a unique problem for anybody because of his combination of size, power, and speed, but I'd take Fedor to win that fight with relative ease. There just aren't any weak spots in his game that I can see. I'm not an MMA scholar by any means, but to me it looks like he could outclass any other HW right now, be it on the ground or the feet.

That lunging KO punch was awesome. It's always good to have one of those "Oh shit!!!" moments when you have friends over to watch fights, kind of like Hendo turning out Bisping's lights.

Bisping being KO'd was awesome. The flying icing-on-the-cake punch after was golden! Haha.

As for Lesnar; the dude has mono. He could be out for a long time. That shit lingers for months. At Lesnar's age, that could be devastating for his stamina and strength in the future. He'll always have his size, though.

Who is the greatest ever, though? Considering Fedor can beat anyone at HW, how is he overrated?

In my many years of watching MMA, I have never witnessed a more complete and devastating fighter than Fedor. He has amazing skills, and a real killer instinct. No one in his path is going to stop him. He should be fighting Allistair Overeem who is on a tear and possibly Werdum next year. They're just as talented as anyone in the UFC HW division.

And like most other champions and top talent, Fedor generally fights twice a year. I don't really see anything wrong with that. Up until the past couple years he was fighting 3 times a year, which is generally the most common for well known fighters.

He's a legend and deserves every bit of recognition he gets.

Oh, sorry. Didn't realize he'd fought and beat everyone already. My bad.

There is no "greatest ever" in MMA. Never will be as long as the sport stays honest. There will be greats, no doubt, and Fedor is among them, but he's at the top with others, not above them.

+1
One loss in what, 9 years? Due to a cut / doc stoppage, yet.
Overrated, my white Irish ass.

Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro Nogeuira vs. Cain Velasquez at UFC 108.

Now that will be a helluva fight.

Yep. Though I think Velasquez is a bit over-rated.
I want Nog to win, but, we'll see.

I thought he was overrated coming into the Rothwell fight, but now I am a believer. Velasquez destroyed Big Ben, and now will be put to the test against Big Nog. Will be an awesome fight.

also, Anthony Rumble Johnson fighting at 106? The guy just fought at 104. He is taking a risk in this fight. If he loses it knocks him down the welterweight chart after he just so nicely climbed up it.

Like who? Who else out there has as many accomplishments in the sport, has finished and or dominated so many dangerous opponents, and continues to do well? There's maybe only a few who are at the level Fedor is. He is simply the greatest, and will go down in history as a legend in the sport.

I said he is capable of doing so.

Cain is in over his head against Nog. I don't see him faring well enough on the feet to do anything against Nog, and he's not going to want to pitter patter on the ground against Nog, either. Cain doesn't seem to have the KO power to toy with Nog in his guard, so we'll see what happens. I won't totally count out Cain, but I think Nog is still going strong and has a few years left before some up and comers get through him.

Johnson taking the fight is a good move. He's a lot bigger than Kos, has great hands, and is a strong wrestler. It should be an interesting fight, but it may turn into a bore. We'll see. Johnson is pretty huge for a WW, so I think he may have the advantage coming into the fight.

He barely broke a sweat in his last fight, so I don't blame him for taking another fight so early. He'd make a good name for himself in the division taking out Kos.

I thought Rothwell was gonna take that one... I didn't happen to see it though.
Of the few times I've seen Cain fight, I wasn't really too impressed, somehow. And Nog has shown that he can take a punch (or ten) and still keep going. Cain has soft hands, and I really don't see him putting Nog to sleep. On the ground, I still favor Nog.
Should be a good fight, though.

oh I will be putting my money on Big Nog, but it will be a great fight. I know that Nog is still going storng, but Cain does have the age advantage. It should be a great fight, and for me one of the best upcoming fights.

Plus the more they show the previews on Spike for Tito and Forrest, the more I can't wait to see it. I am really interested in seeing how Tito is now. He says that he is healthy for the first time in 3 years. It should be good.

UFC 105 in just over 12 hours, picks?

Couture (Vera looks ragged, somehow)
Swick
Kang
the rest, meh, dunno.

Yeah, Nog is hard as fuck. Cain is, as somebody has mentioned, in over his head. If Cain took the W, I'd be surprised. Still, this is MMA, and there are a lot of variables.

I want Couture to win so bad. Randy is probably my favourite fighter added with the fact that I can't stand Vera. Randy needs to win this, for me.

Vera looked like he was ill or something at the weigh in. Dehydration, or the shit (so I hear) British cuisine?
Did you see Kang's right bicep? Fucking deformed (ripped it apparently).

I missed the last 3 episodes because of work. Will watch them online eventaully. Or maybe tomorrow (today) throughout the day, Spike is doing a marathon for this season.

You aren't missing much. Best fight so far was Rampage vs. a door.
