They are making a new one. I'm pretty sure it won't even be half as good as the first one.

yeah. The hollywood remake of the first movie kind of makes sure that the sequel will be a crapfest.

Watching X-Men 2 with the kid I'm babysitting. Easily the best of the series, I don't really like the others.

It would be unwatchable without Magneto.

Observe and Report. This movie was strange, but I liked it. I appreciated how it ended with many "normal" movie beats/plot elements and all of the music cues would make you think that you're watching a normal, happy movie, all the while Seth Rogen is very, very insane. It all felt quite weird, but I'm guessing that was the point. The voice-over speech that he gave practically could have come out of a Batman movie, only here it was taking place in the "real world" and not Gotham City, so it all sounded sufficiently crazy (reminds me of the Aronofsky script for a Batman film before Begins came out where they asked the question of "what kind of person would actually dress up in a bat-suit in an attempt to fight crime?" And the answer was "a goddamn crazy one"). The Taxi Driver comparisons are apt.

I don't know why, but this may be one of my favourite movies ever. I laugh like an idiot every time.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ('74) - I, for whatever reason, hadn't seen this before. I liked how...dirty...the whole thing was. It was like there was a layer of grime on the lens throughout the course of the film. Also Marilyn Burns is hot. It was less Leatherface-centered than I thought it would have been, seeing as he's the "iconic" figure of the series.

The Dead Zone - Felt rather episodic for a feature film, but I guess that's why they made a TV show.

No Country for Old Men - Another one that I should have seen earlier. Granted I'm only a couple years late as opposed to...35, but whatever. I liked the eerie tone of desolation throughout the film, which was significantly aided by the minimal use of music. It's funny, because although it's an adaptation of a novel, it fits in well with previous Coen Brothers films like Blood Simple or Fargo in terms of plot and desolate, open landscapes. Hell, even the Anton Chigurh character was kind of a throwback to the villain in Raising Arizona.

Persona (1966)
I'm not quite sure what to think of it. I guess this one needs numerous views... One thing I know that I have yet to see a movie that uses lighting in such a masterful way. There are some really powerful images here.

Bad Santa - Billy Bob Thorton plays a grumpy drunk well.
An Evening With Kevin Smith - Did lol. Liked learning about the stuff going on behind his movies and such,

Monsters Ball - Made me lol so hard. Halle Berry sucks balls.

Monster - Pretty good, although gimmicky.

The Great Gatsby - Didn't include the last line of the book for some reason....?

Brick - Ok film noir thing set in a high school

THX 1138 (remastered version) - Would have been better without George Lucas' patented meddling/revising, the new effects look out of place and amateur.

Excellent performance by Mickey Rourke. Great film.

Terminator Salvation - Bit meh. Nothing made sense, the acting and script were rubbish...

Of course. I just downloaded recordings of him reading some of his stuff, too. If you want I can get you some uploads...

I agree with Zad, but I don't find it to be totally horrible as most people do.

Shifty - Great little low-budget British drama about a drug dealer.
