If not, I love me some Bowie from time to time. "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust..." is a freakin' great album. Also there are a couple of Beatles albums and other stuff somewhere in my collection, but it's quite rare that I listen to them. Some of those things that you remember and have good memories about, but never really listen to anymore.

People can't be serious when mentioning ABBA and Aqua. Along with other bands they make some of that kind of music that give me an instant case of indigestion.


Ehhhh, Abba's okay. Although I personally can't stand Dancing Queen (arguably their most famous song), some of their other songs such as SOS and Money Money Money are pretty good.

Well, art-rock maybe. It sounds more like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to me. Whatever it is, I hardly think it qualifies as pop. Too subtle.

Pop can be subtle. It's a wider genre than Lady frigging Gaga.

She only has a couple songs I'd call rock, too. What I've heard from Lady Gaga has been pretty cool actually, especially the stuff that's her with a piano.

Bat For Lashes is v good.

I listened to Fiona Apple for the first time today. I like her. I may pick up Tidal in the Spring.

All three of her albums are great, especially When The Pawn... and Extraordinary Machine.

Been listening to Nat King Cole and Edith Piaf a lot lately. It's cool hearing the "normal" versions of jazz standards.
