Is there actually any point to that, other than for the lulz?

I'm pretty sure it's just for the lulz. Can you beat it?

Bought yet another expensive board game.

Descent: Journeys in the Dark. It's supposed to be one of the best board games ever.

It is good, but dammit, it takes alot of time to play. Of course, this could also be because we were teh beers und a lot of smoking breaks during our games, but anyhow...

Also recommended to everyone into board games, Arkham Horror!

I can't, but I know a guy who did and he says nothing happened.

I got a PS3 recently. Playing through Borderlands and Fallout 3 despite my distaste for FPS games. Methinks the lack of nazis/soldiers/grey helps though lol.

Any recommendations from anyone?

Yes: Don't call Fallout 3 an FPS.

In all seriousness, Resistance: Fall Of Man and Wipeout HD are awesome.

If you ever find a cheaper and complete version of Milton Bradley's 'Dark Tower' please let me know. I hope that you enjoy Descent, it looks like a good one.

I've been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum and Halo ODST quite a bit since Christmas.

Dragon Age Origins and Red Faction Guerilla are coming my way now. I don't know how to feel. I really wanted to play both games when they first came out, but now all my time is invested into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I doubt I will be able to get into Dragon Age as it is a long long game, and I am not in the mood to play some insanely long and deep game. I just want something to hold me over until BioShock 2 comes out next month. I guess I can grab Army of Two: The 40th Day, as that is getting some good reviews and I didn't mind the first game.

Finished Borderlands last night. Worst game ending I've ever seen. What a fucking slap in the face.

The rest of it was pretty solid and addictive though. I'd give it an 8.5 / 10.

I got Assassin's Creed II for christmas and I really enjoyed it. Maybe a bit too easy but a lot of fun nevertheless.

I rented Forza 3 today. Awesome game. However, before buying any more auto racing games, I'm going to wait and see how Gran Turismo 5 turns out. Hopefully it will be out by June of this year.

You going to get the DLC? There is 2 of them.

Ehh, I'm not the biggest fan of DLC. It's just a way to make me pay extra money for what could've been fit into the original sixty dollar game anyway. Expansion packs are another thing, but really, am I going to pay an extra ten dollars for a bonus level or, God forbid, new costumes? I think not.

But admittedly, Borderlands did really leave me wanting for more so I might look into the DLC and see if it looks worthwhile.

***ALERT: BORDERLANDS SPOILER AHEAD***
Probably though, the only DLC I'd buy is if they came out with an alternate ending to the game where you can actually get to the vault without a fucking crab / octopus thing (Totally a Watchmen ripoff) destroying the gateway to it.
