300 pounds for a blazer?

www.prettygreen.com

The blazer is cashmere with a silk inside, the hat is suede (75£) and the neckerchief I'm wearing underneath the kefia is silk (75£).

I blew all my birthday/xmas money on that outfit, so yeah. Indulging in myself for once.

The only correct way to spend large amounts of birthday money is on metal albums. I believe this has been proven with science.

The fact that no one's busting my ass for buying stuff from Liam Gallagher's clothing line is quite refreshing.

That's presumably because we're not sad enough to know that Liam Gallagher has a clothing line.

imo spending lots of money on clothes is justifiable since the expensive stuff is comfier, looks better, and lasts longer, so it's better to have one awesome thing to wear every day that lasts as long as 5 cheaper pieces of clothing would. UNFORTUNATELY FOR FRIDGE keffiejah's are so 2008, and why is your belt hanging out like that. The suit and glasses and hat look pretty sweet tho

No shit. Even if I had millions, I wouldn't spend that much on clothes. I can't stand it when people are that frikin superficial.

Why is it automatically superficial? I only have two really expensive items of clothing (that blazer and another one from the same label), everything else is discount stuff from H&M. I just decided that really good quality clothing and a certain level of aesthetic cohesiveness was worth investing more money than usual. Spending money on a wardrobe is one of the less idiotic things you could do.

You can buy nice clothes for much cheaper than 300 or even 100 pounds/dollars. I work at a bank. I have to dress 'nice' everyday, but I still manage to spend less than that on dress clothes. Outside of work, I dress modest. There is no reason for me to appear dressed up, except for the occasional gathering that requires it, which I will then wear work clothes. I guess my point is, if you want to dress nice, look for a sale or something. There is no need to spend that amount of money on an article of clothing. Just because it is expensive doesn't make it that much better looking. There are better things to do with your money, but then again it is just that, your money.

Maybe for shoes, but otherwise that is not true.

The belt's hanging out because I wasn't paying attention, and keffiejahs (if that's the correct spelling) are stylish in Europe right now. We get everything a couple of years later. Especially us alpine folk.

Buying expensive clothes isn't for everyone. If I had the means to do so, i'd love to buy everything top of the line. However I look fabulous all the time with much cheaper brands. However I do have a few expensive key items that I wear nearly everyday. ie: boots, bags, jackets.

Yeah. Although I add jeans to that list because ever since I bought two pairs of nice denim a year ago they're the only two pairs I've worn.

It's hard for men to find good quality men's jeans. I find that it's different when i'm buying jeans for myself I can buy a pair in 10 minutes. Whereas when I shopped with Dan, everything just looked weird, until we started looking at G-Star, Diesel, Nudie jeans, etc. Now those are good mens jeans.

Express all the way. I hate shopping, I hate that store, but Express is the only place I can buy jeans. It has been that way since I was 13.

more and more all i see in stores now is pre-faded or torn jeans, or with really weird pockets, or jeans meant to be worn aaround the knees or something.

i bought 2 £8 pairs at primark (i swear that company uses child labour, it's just too cheap lol) two years ago, and even though i almost only use those they're still in good condition. again: £8 each.

I'd have to go with Frigid on this one.

It's hard to find jeans that fit me. I'm too skinny for most of them. :(

Im with Ness on this one, i dont like to expend that much money on clothes, but then i dress in a very consewrvative way so fashionable pieces of clothes dont appeal to me, suits are a different thing, buying an expensive suit for weddings, graduations, etc, is ok in my book, cheap suits fit and look horrible, tailor made is ideal although that could be really expensive.
