Started Chrono Trigger over, since I have time to play it now. Last time I played it, I got about ten hours in and then school started up, so I didn't have any time to devote myself to an RPG, really.

Ah what an excellent game, good story, good characters, good battle system, good music and good graphics, its probably my second favourite RPG after Final Fantasy VI, if you can be sure to play Chrono Cross also.

I hadn't even heard of Chrono Cross until now, heh. But I really hope they port it to the DS, otherwise I'll have no way of playing it.

Anyway, just picked up Dementium: The Ward, since the sequel looks amazing. Wow, what an impressive game! Who knew you could operate a fully functional and graphically impressive survival / horror FPS on the DS?

Recently finished Eternal Sonata and Heavy Rain.
At the moment I'm slowly advancing through Final Fantasy XIII

Download it and play it on your computer. If you have an xbox 360 controller you can plug that in so you wont have to use the keyboard.

I'm pondering whether or not I should re-buy GTA 3. I used to own it, but I sold it about a year ago. Now, I'm regretting it somewhat. Is it still worth playing, or does GTA 4 totally outshine it?

GTA3 is good, but so outdated. GTA4 is also very good and not nearly as hard on the eyes or ears.

I'm currently alternating between FFXIII, God Of War 3 and Metro 2033, all very good games.

I think I'm going to go with GTA IV. Putting nostalgia behind me, GTA III became really repetitive after a while. And I didn't like the trial-and-error nature of a lot of its missions. GTA IV, from what I've read, sounds like it fixes a lot of GTA III's problems and is thus a much better game. And what's really nice is that, because it's a two year old game, you can buy a new copy for only $30 now (not counting all the downloadable content).

GTA IV gets very repetitive too, and worst of all it also gets very annoying with the friends system, but despite that it is actually a fun game.

Dude. GTA4 is one of the least stable games ever. The gameplay and the aesthetics are vastly superior to GTA3, but that's about it. Expect a lot of swearing - from you, not from the game.

GTA 4 is more or less unplayable for me due to the near-constant crashing. Like Karmo said, hugely frustrating, especially since there's no official solution. :lame:

I'd be getting the X-Box 360 version, which doesn't have this problem.

You don't have to sound so smug about it.

Hmmmmm, the Gamefaqs reviewers seem to have mixed feelings about the game. How linear is it compared to the prior three GTA's?

I wouldn't call it linear, as there is lots to do. But the most annoying part of the game is the missions don't seem to change all that much. Go here, kill him, collect reward. Though some are really damn good, it just gets old pretty quick. It doesn't ruin the game, it just could be so much better without the same style of missions over and over again. Also the friend system is annoying. They constatnly call and want to do something which is not exaclty easy when you are trying to kill somebody and finish a mission.

I would still pick it up, even though not all reviews are great. It's still a damn fine GTA game and if you can get it for $30, then why the hell not? If you don't like it, it's not like it left a big dent in your wallet.

From what I've played, it's fun. The friend thing isn't that annoying, although admittedly I haven't played it as much as DW. The driving is fun, and crashing through the windscreen is fun, and the new combat system is fun. Worth it, like the man says.
