so I downloaded the free MW2 multi-player thing on Steam, but it wont let me play. I click on it and it just keeps taking me back to the Steam home page.

I got it to work, but now my computer is going slower than me at 6 am.

also, playing on the PC is so hard. I know I'll get use to it, but man it's so different. I'm not use to me left hand having so much responsibility.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

Only an hour into it and I've only been in five battles. The introduction is FAR too fucking long, but I really like the sci-fi/dungeon crawler thing it's got going on. Plus, the excellent soundtrack is bundled in with the game, which is an awesome bonus.

I have a feeling the story is going to become really damn preachy though.

Yeah, no auto-aiming must be a bitch too. The thing I'm not used to in MW2 is that claymores use the same button as grenades. Often I want to throw a grenade at someone but end up planting a clay right in front of my feet, at a totally useless location.

Is it crazy that, when I read "MW2," I think of Mechwarrior 2 rather than Modern Warfare 2?

Why must every MGS game have a stupid section that kills the momentum stone dead? Must start playing again.

Finished God Of War III, it was pretty awesome if only a bit too similar with the past two games, the scale was truly impressive, combat was solid as always but i wished they had improved more on the controls, they felt a little dated and that was my main problem with game, it feels kinda old, if it werent for the gorgeous visuals and incredible cutscenes you would swear you were playing God of War II, not necessarily a bad thing but still i wished they had improved more on the overall mechanics of the game.

Story wise it ranged from decent to awful, Kratos character is definitely one of the worst parts, i didnt feel conected to his quest for revenge at all this time, add this to the incredible level of gore, overdramatic voice acting and cheesy one liners that would make even Bruce Campbell cringe and you got yourself and incredible weak protagonist whose only purpose is to give the player the oh so incredible levels of blood he dessires, it works but it detracts from the overall story of the game and cheapens the whole experience.

Reading that it may seem i didnt like this game, but i did, i really did, but to be honest it would be really hard to fuck up with the god of war formula, i just think that the devs took the easy route with this one, 88/100 for me.

Now im currently playing Heavy Rain and so far im loving every minute of it.

Got my 360 back earlier this week. Been playing MW2 mostly, kinda rusty, plus my time on the PC has forever changed me.

The Starcraft 2 beta ;)

The game is great of course but I really hate the unit models... they look like something out of Command & Conquer or Supreme Commander. Bleh.

Bought Spore (the Galactic Edition, nice goodies in there) and Brothers in Arms - Hell's Highway for a total of 30€ yesterday. Pleased with the deal.

Haha I instantly picked England. Did pretty well the first 20-30 turns by taking some rebel settlements and capturing Edinburgh. France suddenly attacked as I expected but like 5 turns after even Spain and HRE were at my gates  And ofcourse when I'm making my defences, the pope wants a crusade
