some quality purchases there, those and Scream bloody gore, and you have some excellent old school death. If your in the mood for something more extreme, with still the thrash edge mind you, Suffocation Pierced from Within and Atheist-Piece of time are good as well.

Yeah, I have scream bloody gore already.

I err on the side of caution as far as Suffocation and Atheist are concerned. I can give it a listen, but Death Metal is very hit or miss with me. It has to be very specific.

Check old Pestilence out. Very Thrashy.

So I received my copies of Death - Leprosy and Death - Spiritual Healing.

I was after the fold out digipak reissues from 2008, since that's the packaging I have for Scream Bloody Gore and Human. I couldn't find them in any stores here, or even on Amazon, so I decided to eBay them. I bought them both from the same guy who had them labelled "2008 reissue". I asked him if they were the digipaks but he just said he didn't know as they were in a warehouse. The price was good so i decided to go for it.

Turns out that Spiritual Healing is the digipak, but Leprosy isn't. It has the remaster from 2008, which is good, but this means that I now have 4 Death albums in my collection where 3 are fold-out digipaks and 1 is not.

I'm assuming right now most of you are like "so what?" but for any of you die-hard collectors out there....you feel my pain!

Mars Volta - Amputechture
Mars Volta - Bedlam in Goliath
Helmet - Strap it On

Never heard any of these but for 75 cents a pop I figured what the hell.
