Not at all. They were the best.

new MW2 maps went up yesterday.

I've played 3 of the 5 so far.

Trailer Park - ridiculous, small and close quarters.

Carnival - like no COD map ever. It's broken up into 4 different parts, and all 4 are very different.

Strike - from COD4. still the same old map, which is an awesome one at that. there are visual updates, and some of the 'glitches" from COD4 are gone.

have yet to play Fuel or Vacant.

Strike was one of my favourites in CoD4. I haven't got the first map pack yet but I saw it has Overgrown, which was another definite favourite. Now here's to hoping they put Broadcast in at some point in the future, I absolutely owned in that map on Hardcore S&D.

Also... http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/

It may be Treyarch, but...

THEY'RE PUTTING DEDICATED SERVER SUPPORT BACK IN!

I'm not gonna lie, Black Ops looks/sounds pretty cool so far.

After W@W I said to myself "self, I'm never buying a treyarch game again." but Black Ops just may change that.

I have both the Baldur's Gates and the add-ons, need to devote some time to them although was put off by the first's graphics the last time I tried, assume BG2 is better. And always heard great things about PT, wonder if it works on Windows 7...

I think somebody on the BioWare forums said that all Infinity Engine games work on Windows 7. Probably because they don't demand many (if any) processor-specific functions.

Personally, I don't see why you'd be turned off by the graphics in BG. They're still among the best 2D graphics in gaming. As for how BG2 compares, I think that depends on what you're looking for. BG2 is much longer, a little less linear, and more open-ended (although it does discard things like "forest treks to get to your destination"). If you're a fan of Infinity Engine games, I recommend Icewind Dale. It's more shallow and linear than the BG games, but it's also more straightforward and less confusing. A great game if you're looking for a good CRPG to play during a long school semester.

If you want to play BG1 try searching the web for either the BGTuTu or BG Trilogy mods. What both mods do is basically making BG1 run with the engine of BG2. This means higher resolutions, new classes and their kits and the increased level cap. For this you need both BG1 and 2 installed though, but now if you want you can start with a kensai. With these mods there is no reason to play vanilla BG1 again.

And PT is one of the best PC RPG's ever. Buy it now.

Thanks for giving me an excuse to play through BG again.

Just as brilliant as the first so far. Worth owning a Wii for, heh.

I love Mario Kart, but this is actually a pretty funny commercial.

Does anybody else think "Broccoli-Head" sounds a bit like Towelie?

Oblivion. Wow, what a shitty fucking game.

Just as repetitive, bland and empty as Morrowind.

anybody following E3?

nothing fancy so far this year. it's all about microsfot Kinect and sony Move.

stupid shit, but some of the more hardcore games look sick.

Gears 3
XCOM
Fable 3
CoD: Black Ops
Medal of Honor
Halo REACH
BulletStorm

these are the games that are looking the best so far IMO

but Killzone 3 looked pretty cool.
