Black metal? I've always thought of them as sludge/screamo or smth although their atmosphere is unique and doesn't fit into a subgenre very well. Too rhythmic for black metal though. Will listen to this sometime soon. They make me want to start fights with the people I see walking around on the street which is kind of a fun feeling.

I dunno, they kinda seem like BM to me, though I was gonna put Sludge in the tag as well. The whole inverted cross thing they have on some of their stuff kinda lends itself to that sort of thing too.

Is there any reason I should check this out if Nihiliste(s) wasn't all that endearing to me?

Maybe not, but that was two albums ago so might be worth a look at any rate.

I thought this album was fairly generic stuff. It's by no means bad and I'm pretty sure I'll keep it but 93 is way too fair of a score. More like a 73. This is an above average album and probably only a buy if you're a black metal nut.

I saw them live here in Portugal, and it is an intense and unique experience!! Imagine every light off, and all the band members with a red miner's light on their head and a white light stroboscope some times... It's the total apocalypse!!!

Anyway, good score, great album! I feel their music like they were a Meshuggah in a black metal state... :dio:

It's called a carabiner and skinny jeans bro. Also not sure what that has to do with Celeste? Dudes dress nothing like that!

That explains why you like 'em so much; they wear scarves.
