There isn't much mentioning of the songs in this review, and you keep broadly pandering to the reader with redundant comments. I can understand the usual complaints of unoriginality and all that, but I would've like to have seen some standout or at least listenable songs.

I didn't feel this was worth much of my effort in doing a really in-depth review. So yeah, I was a bit cheap on this; I picked this promo as a joke in the first place. (I was also pressed for time, unfortunately, otherwise it might've been a little better)

Standout tracks? Uhh, none. This kind of (badly done) Metal rarely has standout tracks. I mentioned that they're all riff salads with little organization. If I played the album on random I wouldn't be able to tell which track was which save for the few songs whose beginnings I have memorized.

"This kind of metal rarely has standout tracks".
It's this sort of statement that makes certain the fact you have no idea what your talking about. I can understand not putting effort any effort in your review, but I would like to hear as well the songs where they at least peak curiosity. Seriously using Behemoth and Nile as a reference points for brutal death metal? Listen to more bands to become familiar with the music, and listen to the songs at least to recall parts where they at least become noticeable. Nice try though

Why get all bent out of shape about a shitty band?

I am nore incensed about the authors lack of knowledge about this music, as I completely understand the fact he dislikes the band. Usually, even with lackluster and I say lackluster, as the band obviously bears little resemblance to their horrible EP and demo, but usually in any review there should be at least a few memorable sections.

OK, so maybe I haven't heard as much BDM as you, but don't assume that means this is the first time I've heard it in my entire life. Perhaps it's not really my cup of tea: I personally rarely hear any hooks in BDM, which is why I tend more towards Brutal Tech Death which is more melodic and catchy to my ears. So straight up BDM like this I am not so used to, you are correct; Brutal TDM like aforementioned Nile and Behemoth, as well as some of my favorites like Suffocation, Cryptopsy, Gorod, Gorguts, and Ulcerate, however, I have heard quite a lot of and would probably be better suited to review.

Sorry if this was a poor fit for me, and I do admit it is my weakest review thus far. If you really want my favorite tracks, they'd probably be Reign Supreme, Sadistic Tortures, and Beyond God, though I tried to make clear that all of the songs are pretty much of similar quality and makeup.

Alright well, if your familiar with Suffocation that would have been a more tangible reference point, as Nile is far too technical for the likes of WTC. Not a bad try overall though, and you should look more into the genre.

"Slam" Death Metal is pretty much all shit, so looking into it more is an exercise in futility.

Too bad this is more deathcore than slam, as well as their earlier output which is just plain horrible.

I know that Nile and Behemoth are far more technical than WtC, which is what I tried to point out (using not enough words apparently): they used riffs that sounded like those bands but were nowhere near as complex or, well, good.

Defeated Sanity aren't slam death metal, though. Or has the term become interchangable with brutal death metal?

They use slams, but yes in the strict sense they are more than mere slam.

Yeah, almost the whole genre is a steaming pile of shit that fit's the description contained in the lyrics for many songs in this genre.

New is overrated. Besides, it's almost impossible to do something truly new now a days. And if someone miraculously succeeds, it is usually complete and utter shit.
