I just started classes today (all online) and I had this playing in my headphones while working. It's most definitely within the doom genre as you wrote but it's also good that you pointed out the spacey/horror soundtrack aspects as well because that permeates the entire album imo. It reminds me of the use of Iron Butterfly's 'In Da Godda Davida' in the movie 'Manhunter'. I could envision this being used in a similar fashion. Very strange but cool. Thumbs up on the review and yes, thank you for bringing this to my attention
