^^^never fails to amaze me. Among all that furry porn, transsexual porn and gore, sometimes they do the most amazing things. Puts a smile on my face every day. :)

I just learned that the Angel Dust's drummer's name is "Dirk Assmuth"

I laughed way harder than I should have.

Unfortunate.
At one time I made a list of unlikely names, came up with around 35 or so.
Juvenile? You bet, but it amused me for awhile.

I've lost count of how many times I've been in that situation.

I hate hate hate hate that situation. I quickly realized just to not even attempt it after it happened so many times in high school.

I've realized long ago that people cannot even distinguish the instruments in the background because they are used to focusing on the vocals from pop music. So I never listen to metal with anyone. Except metalheads, that is.

That would explain so much.

Very true. The average person is conditioned to focus on vocals and lyrics. And really, who needs that crap?

I never thought about it that way but it actually sounds very plausible.

In fact, the average person does not "listen" to music but rather "hear" it. I like to represent it this way.

Here's some free advice for everyone: apply for a credit card sooner rather than later. The hoops I have to jump through =

That is also true. And frankly, that's alright. What bugs me is that it's usually those people who tell you that the music you listen to listen to (metal, ofcourse) is pure noise.

I used to focus entirely on vocals and lyrics. I remember thinking The Offspring's Pay the Man was a hidden track because it had that long instrumental intro. Then I became a metal fan and tried as hard as possible to pretend vocals and lyrics didn't matter.

Getting both my credit cards was really easy. First one my bank was like "hey u want one?" then the second a store was like "hey u want one?" and now I have two.

Credit cards are easy to get... in America, at least.
