As a conservative middle class yuppy type I don't need pop music to relate to my fellows.

By the way I have acquired a new overcoat for $99 (reduced from $150) that goes very well with my suits and Hush Puppies.

Wish I could relate to this, I'm just starting out and my fiance slams me for paying twenty five dollars for a band shirt. =/ More power to you!!!

My wife fully supports my little hobbies. She actually comes to Metal gigs with me, though I go to alternative/pop concerts for bands she likes.

Next concert is her choice: Angus and Julia Stone which is soft acoustic pop. After that it's my turn with Metallica/Lamb of God.

Maybe you should take your fiance to a nice pop concert?

Let me know what that's like. I haven't really gotten into anything they did since The Blessed Hellride.

Blind Guardian - At the Edge of Time
Pathology - Legacy of the Ancients
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Watain - Lawless Darkness

Picked this up at a used CD shop when I heard they're working on a new album. Good stuff, love the cover art.

Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know. Even at the not-so-ripe age of 66, Dio was one of the finest singers in all of metal. He will be missed. :(
