I've only been deferring buying this one for some 12 years. It was 40% off so I thought I'd take the plunge.

Agalloch - Of Stone, Wind and Pillor
Now I only need to get my hands on The White EP and I'm satisfied. Until the new album comes around that is.

Also:
Alice in Chains - Facelift

Of Stone, Wind and Pillor is the only Agalloch EP I have. I bought it for 'Kneel to the Cross', which I must have listened to 100 times in 2001-02, and it even spawned my interest in darkwave.

That's actually the reason why I bought it. The other songs are great too but Kneel to the Cross is rapidly becoming one of my all time favourite Agalloch songs.

Lock the thread. DW wins. Skip to Atavism II and play it 18x then listen to the other two albums. Hardworlder actually should probably be listened to first because it's the weaker of the three. It's good but will definitely be the weak link.

I've listened to random songs on YouTube from all 3 albums. I'm pumped.

I prefer that Gaza to the first. Both are quality.

OK, went a little nuts with the purchases today, but I was probably in the largest metal section I've ever seen (HMV Toronto).

the HMV in Toronto is the best cd store I have ever gone into. Sure, the prices are a little high, but it has an amazing selection. I can literally spend hours in the metal section alone.

I noticed.

I'm sure now you'll notice that I noticed.

Noticeably, yes.
