Pretty much, don't know what the fuck kind of mood I was in when I wrote all that.

RAGE breeds more RAGE. Although a friend has now got me interested in playing Reach

So maybe I won't hate Halo much longer

X Box 360 has started randomly crashing approximately 1.5 minutes into any game I try. Thought consoles were better than this. Very frustrating.

Costume Quest :dio:

Very addictive.

Went to a friend's house last night for some Rock Band 2 before going to see GWAR and it RRoD'd on him.. It was sorta funny since he was always bragging that it never happened to him.. But I also understood his pain as a gamer and felt bad. And with him that makes every single person I know who has owned an Xbox 360 get the RRoD. Luckily he was still under warranty.

Even if your not under warranty, just threaten to switch to Sony, they'll fix whatever ails ya.

That's never happened to me, but I can imagine how frustrating that is. My first Xbox crashed, and my replacement system is acting weird now as well. Maybe I'll put some money down for the new "Slim" 360.

Will the red ring be thinner then?

This is supposed to be one of those slim things. Looks pretty fat to me. My brother's friend suggested standing it on its side, and so far that seems to be working. What a wacky world you consolers live in, you'd never solve PC issues by balancing it sideways.

Standing it on its side fucks up the discs.

Jeez, I can't win, can I? I haven't been moving it with a disc in, which is apparently the main no-no, but not seen anything about sideways discbuggery. Help?

Sell it and get more pc goods.

Edit: seriously. You were asking for games to buy for it... I'd only buy a console for games I really want to get but that are console only.

Relax, you won't fuck up the disc by placing it sideways...

standing the 360 on its side will not cause any problems.

mine has always been on its side, and no problems yet. *knock on wood*

Could it be getting overheated flat? It seems fine now, clear air flows... would overheating cause crashes?
