Heaven't heard the album yet, but I recently saw this band open for High On Fire, and I can say this: their live set fucking kills. When you can play that loud and heavy and still convey as much musical texture as they do, you're doing something right.

+1. Psyched to check this out. A little quickly made after Static but I'm glad to hear positive things.

In i think last months decibel they interviewed kylesa and they explained that static tensions was held for almost a year before release. So they have had time to write this even before static tensions came out. I thought the same thing when i saw they were recording a new album.
Great album by the way. I like the change in sound they made, not that it was a big change.

You didn't even mention the title track which stood out to me the most on first listen. Really good percussion, guitar and whispered vocals to create just the right kind of atmosphere.

I like this album. I wonder how many times I`m going to play it. I know it will be more than most records.
