I admit that Call of Duty 4 is the best one in the series, and just the other day I played a few rounds online but as thomas said, the graphics are pretty hard to look at. It feels so slow and just plain old. I get how some people could still play it religiously, but I just couldn't handle it.

But whatever, in the end I was just bustin your balls.

I still think King Diamond sounds like Oscar The Grouch's wife on steroids.

Batman Arkham Asylum is pure win.

Gears 2 is fun, but only the story.

Didn't try Mass Effect 2.

Wet is like a Tarantino film but in video game form.

Good haul goat. Now get Black Ops!

Arkham Asylum got repetitive towards the end. Traded it in.

To each his own I guess.

Arkham City looks like GOTY 2011.

Xbox 360 ppl, I'm having trouble with Modern Warfare 2 online. It takes ages finding games, and then if connects is very laggy - not a connection problem my end I assume, since usual internet and Xbox live are working. What's up?

Oh, they just took server bandwidth away to have everyone buy Black Ops.

I wondered this, but thought 'nah, surely not...' Still too much Christmas cheer in me, clearly. The cunts.

Mass Effect 2: Best 360 game, IMO. Crazy awesome stuff.
Gears of War 2: Great game, but gets old after awhile.
Wet: Cool game, but I don't recommend play sessions that last over an hour. Superb soundtrack though, I think some kind of thrash metal track plays during the skydiving sequence.

And I still haven't gotten around to Arkham Asylum.

As for what I'm playing:

(Mass Effect 2, Borderlands, Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, Halo: Reach, Gears of War 2)

My housemate got some cool games for his ps3. Vanquish, Far Cry 2, Uncharted, Fifa 2010, Fallout New Vegas. Far Cry 2 is tense as fuck and Vanquish is just plain awesome.

Just started it, already can see it's much better than the (pretty good) first. Looking forward to getting to know it.

+1

ME2 is so much better in every aspect compared to the first one, the trailer for ME3 looks awesome, this time we're bringing the fight to earth.

On a sidenote: There are really alot of cool games slated for release this year: Mass Effect 3, Bulletstorm, Gears Of War 3, Dead Space 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Brink, Homefront, Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2.

With half of Infinity Ward gone I'm not looking forward that much to it.

I understand the budget'ing, but FIFA 10 was a huge upgrade over its predecessors, so if you don't have that, you're kinda missing out.

But, I'm sure FIFA 08 is good too!

I don't see why it's such a big deal when a sci-fi sequel takes place partially on Earth. Most games take place on Earth anyway. Who cares? I wanna discover uncharted planets and get it on with new species in my Mass Effect, dammit!
