GSP or Koscheck?

GSP said on a Canadian sports show that he's going to finish Koscheck. Knockout or submission, doesn't matter. He's going to finish him and forget about him.

Gonna be a sick night.

I've drifted away the past month or so and haven't watched the latest TUF, but Kos is a formidale opponent.
That being said, I got GSP.
I am going to miss this one (funds are low there arent any places nearby that are showing it) and that makes me a little sad.
This has all the markers of a good fight.

Well V, unfortunately you missed a good night of fights. Alves-Howard was a good fight. Pearson-Riddle was good. Danzig-Stevenson was shocking. And good ol' GSP-Koscheck was awesome. Too bad GSP couldn't finish him, but really if it wasn't a title fight the doctor would of stopped the fight the first time he had to look at Kos' eye.

Anywho, all in all a good night of fights. I was impressed.

I was glad to hear about GSP, Kos seems like an arrogant bastard.
GSP, is of course, always class.

Dana White shotdown a instant rematch between Edgar and Maynard. So that means Pettis will take on Edgar and Maynard should get the winner of that.

Thiago Silva looked pretty good. But Vera will do that to you.

Guida looked awesome against Gomi.

Stun Gun is the real deal.

So is Brian Stann apparently.

Good fights, but UFC 126 is what I'm waiting for.

Randy Couture vs. Lyoto Machida at UFC 129, GSP vs. Jake Shields headlines.

Brendon Vera has been cut by the UFC, so has Phil Baroni and Marcus Davis.

Junior Dos Santos will fight either Frank Mir or Brock Lesnar because Cain Velasquez will be out 6 to 8 months with a torn rotator cuff.

Diego Sanchez vs. Martin Kampmann at UFC Live 3.

Chael Sonnen has pleaded guilty for money laundering, faces 20 years in prison and a $500 000 fine.

Fedor Emelianenko will fight Bigfoot Silva sometime in February.

My brother showed me some of this the other night. Two men hugged a lot and then one slapped the other in the face until his nose got mashed. This is the last post I shall make in this thread.

I'm personally not aware of any sumo guys in mma, though wrestling (grappling in general) is a pretty big force in the sport these days.

Sumo in MMA doesn't seem very common, from what I can gather.

Have you ever seen any of the old Pride fights?
Here's all of Fedor Emelianenko's fights for anyone that is interested.

UFC 126 is going to be so awesome. Who's pumped? Who's gonna win?

Silva or Belfort?
Franklin or Griffin?
Jones or Baydar?

I'm going with Silva, Franklin, and Bones Jones.

UFC 126 is looking great. In fact, UFC 127-130 look great too. Good times ahead!

I'm jealous. Luckily UFC recently announced they'll be going to Sweden this fall! Probably gonna be a pretty lame card but I'm gonna try to get a ticket anyway. Even a lame UFC card would likely be the biggest MMA event in Sweden or Scandinavia ever.

I put a little money on Yamamoto+Jones+Griffin+Silva, we'll see how it turns out.

So impressed with BJ, I thought Fitch would steamroll him. Fitch is sooooo much bigger. Too bad BJ couldn't hold on to his back and get that rear naked choke. The third round was classic Fitch and in a way classic BJ as well... Rough to watch.

BJ sounded defeated mentally after that fight. But I agree, I thought Fitch would fight his usual fight, but Penn made it difficult. But for the love of god, no more draws!

Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans will most likely be a boring wrestling match.

But who can honestly challenge Jones? He's just too big.

Man, I can't believe how bad Jones made Shogun look. Was Shogun really prepared? I mean he went five rounds against Machida without looking that gassed. Or is Jones just such a different animal?

I really thought it'd be a war. Instead it was just a onesided beating.
