Listened to this last night.

I don't get what you bitches were whining about, it sounds like a Sodom album.

All on vinyl. So fucking awesome...honestly, I'd really recommend collecting vinyl to anyone. Maybe the sound quality's not as good, maybe it is, I don't know--but it's a very gratifying thing to do. CD collections just aren't as awesome, IMHO.

Finally was able to order Paracletus from Amazon. I mean, really, it was supposed to be out in November.

...and?

Keep in mind I thought Killing Peace was fucking awesome.

Also, picked up:

Which I haven't heard yet. And also got:

Ok, so I've always supported Death Angel in their many stylistic changes, because well, I really love them, so I can see I'm biased, but I still don't understand the animosity towards this album.

The production leaves a lot to be desired, completely agreed. But the songs are all solid.

Onslaught was weak.

Sodom is good, as always.

Death Angel sounded too much like Trivium.

Damn...yeah that's what id been hearing on onslaught. Lame. I was hoping you would say its good for longtime onslaught fans. I guess ill download before I buy.

And yeah, really enjoying new sodom.

As for death angel sounding like trivium, I still think its only in the terrible production. The songs are nowhere near as bad as that comparison would imply. In fact there's at least 4 essential DA face rippers on there. The ultra-violence it ain't, but realistically, they haven't even attempted to do that sort of thing ever since. Even frolic in the park and act III were moves away from that straight-up thrash approach. I for one really appreciate their willingness to explore the possibilities of their sound. An all too rare virtue in this genre. Also, I think i'd kinda like anything Osegueda sings on. He's such a diverse and excellent vocalist.
