Benfica's 18-game winning streak finally came to an end at Braga this sunday. away, to a club that hates us, or at least pretends to hate us because their management is dominated by friends of FC Porto, and with an exhausted team, they still had to rely on one of the most shameful (or should i say, shameless) displays of biased refereeing i have ever seen:

it's a long video, but for anyone doubting what i say about FC Porto and the Portuguese league, here's some evidence.
a goal was wrongly disallowed (that's 2 or 3 this season), Javi Garcia was wrongly sent off, the local supporters constantly threw golf balls at our players (something first and last seen at... FC Porto's stadium! what a surprise!), and ridiculous yellow cards rained on Benfica but barely any for the cheating assholes Braga.
to put things in context: Benfica were, like i said, on an 18-game winning streak, and even at 8 points behind league leaders Porto, our corrupt rivals from the north were terrified, and ordered this disgrace on our beloved sport. we're 11 points behind now, and with 6 games to go the title is all but lost.
last season, Benfica were champions just a few points ahead of Braga, who had their all-time best season. Braga is managed by former FC Porto star Domingos Paciência, and their chairman is FC Porto president Pinto da Costa's close friend António Salvador (he is often seen with Pinto da Costa at FC Porto matches). two Braga players are set to join FC Porto next season, and a further 1-3 are at Braga on loan from Porto. Unlike last season, Braga have been disappointed and aren't even in the European access positions.
disgusting, sickening, embarrassing, disgraceful.
