Yeah, it's really something else. The packaging is also very nice. Very glad that I managed to snag one of those!

Damn...yeah that's what id been hearing on onslaught. Lame. I was hoping you would say its good for longtime onslaught fans. I guess ill download before I buy.

And yeah, really enjoying new sodom.

As for death angel sounding like trivium, I still think its only in the terrible production. The songs are nowhere near as bad as that comparison would imply. In fact there's at least 4 essential DA face rippers on there. The ultra-violence it ain't, but realistically, they haven't even attempted to do that sort of thing ever since. Even frolic in the park and act III were moves away from that straight-up thrash approach. I for one really appreciate their willingness to explore the possibilities of their sound. An all too rare virtue in this genre. Also, I think i'd kinda like anything Osegueda sings on. He's such a diverse and excellent vocalist.

we'll have to agree to disagree. I think it sounds like a 3rd rate metalcore album.

Agreeing with you all the time was getting boring anyway.

Agreed, I like most if not all of DA's catalogue. The new one is a step down from their previous, but only slightly. They still have the catchy choruses, and those little groovy riffs I love.

Yeah, they're quite underrated. They're quite unique in the thrash scene in that their albums all have such distinct feels that none of the songs could belong on any other album but its own. Like each one is a new chapter of their career.

My first purchases from the catalogues of both these bands. I've been listening to way more DM lately than ever before. Hmm...
