I'd probably be spending roughly 0 time doing things in Seattle since the boat gets in at 9pm, the show starts at 10pm, then the boat back leaves at 8am the next morning lol

I just listened to his live album (the foreign name one) and it gave me lots of chills so I'm thinking I will go if a) does not conflict with exam times and b) I can find someone to come with me, although b) is not a necessity.

Here's a full show of the quintet 8)

Also KEN Mode and Fuck the Facts are coming here April 29th, woo.

Went to see Devin Townsend tonight. Probably the best gig I've been to.

Got tickets to see Judas Priest on their farewell tour. Turns out they are playing in Glasgow the night before Iron Maiden, and I already have tickets to see them aswell. So it has worked out pretty well for me.

Went to the belphegor deicide show and had a great time. Blackguard is a great band that needs more attention by the way.

Sadly I bought 4 beers at the bar which didn't even do anything to me. I just need to quit drinking and save my money. If 5-6 beers isn't even getting me a buzz that lasts over 5 minutes anymore it's time to quit.

Went to a hardcore show for two bands in a basement. Then went to a doom metal show for two bands in a loading hangar of an old paper factory. Great night.

The doom bands:

Is Volbeat worth seeing live? I've listened to some songs here and there and it's fairly enjoyable stuff. Just wanting to know if anybody has seen them.

Oh man, I'm avoiding the Omar show when it comes to town.

Just saw Midnight Ghost Train and Jucifer. Midnight Ghost Train was this weird voodoo-y blues/Southern doom metal band that I think I might really like. Jucifer was just intense. Sooo heavy. Probably the heaviest, loudest concert I've ever been to. And the husband, what a nut he is. Walks on to stage with like four drum sticks in each hand and just starts banging the fuck out of his piece of shit set. The high hat is mangled and not even balanced or screwed tightly so it doesn't even clatter when he kicks it. Shotgunning beers in between songs, punching his toms, nearly falling out of his duct taped chair (not a stool). They balanced really well their drone-y doom aspects with some ripping sludge tracks. That kept me into it.

I saw Jucifer a while back. I really need to see them again, because while I remember them being loud, I also happened to be hammered and as such that's about all I remember.
