I take a shower every couple of days. Any longer, and I start to feel like a swamp monster myself.

I don't like showering in the morning when I have classes or other obligations to attend. I always feel like I'd take way too long and end up being late. Plus, my gorgeous flowing locks don't dry that quickly, and I don't wanna show up anywhere with wet hair.

Well I shower at 5, done around 5:15-20, then leave for work at 6. Just need to get up early enough, that's all.

And yeah noodz, I totally agree on re-evaluating behavior and such. I think I have addictive behavior with regards to compulsively checking the internet and shit. I'm really trying to get myself to not spend so much time on the net, since after a certain point it's not rewarding at all and is honestly just a waste of time. Obviously I'm failing.

About a year and a half ago my friend said he'd stopped using MSN/AIM/internet because there's always something better he could be doing. I kind of agreed with him at the time but it took a while to sink in. There is fun stuff on the internet but I'm trying to get better at drawing the line between browsing forums because it's entertaining and being on the internet because I have free time and it's there. And then avoiding the latter in favour of doing something I actually want to do. It's going pretty well so far.

I regret ever going on the internet. I should have been playing basketball and drumming the whole time and working on playing instruments, not staring into a fucking screen.

Haha, for the first week I felt a bit swamp monsterish. Next going to try not showering some mornings since having an extra 20 minutes in the morning would be pretty cool. Last time I tried this I felt pretty gross all day and caved in around 4pm.

20 minutes for a shower? Mine takes about 4 mins, maybe 5 or 6 including getting dressed :P

Well it's 20 minutes from when I check my clock in bed to when I'm making breakfast, usually. I shower pretty long because it's nice and warm in there and cold when I get out.

I don't really regret being on the internet because I've gotten a lot of benefits from it (like people to discuss obscure metal or social anxiety/loneliness with! never find those irl), but nowadays I don't really enjoy it as much as I used to because my interests, music-wise, are more around playing than discussing/discovering, and internet people are angry and unhappy a lot of the time.

I'm 21 and pretty much loathe being on the computer at this point in my life other than maybe a little time a day. I wish I wouldn't have been so fucking depressed in high school and would have made some more friends and been smarter and not smoked pot with the fucking faggots I did make friends with.

I fucked myself over when I was younger, w/e.

Why is there no Best of 2010 from the reviewers on this website? A best-of for the year is pretty essential for any music website...
