I like Marc Staal, but did you see Eric absolutely crushing him last night? I laughed.

If Marc hit Eric like that you'd be crying for suspensions and fines and going on about how dirty Marc is. But hey, that's what makes us hockey fans.

Pfft, bullshit. Then I would complain about the Niskanen hit on Eric, which I don't and which I actually have not seen a lot of canes-fans do.

I had a terrible year fantasy wise in all 3 of my pools.

In my one pool I had 3rd place for over 2 months, then in the final 3-4 weeks of the season, my team started to fall apart. Ended up finishing 6th place(out of the money) and eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs.

then theres our fantasy pool...

Sorry Wally, I thought you had a certain playoff team after the draft. Thanks again for organizing this.

So what happens once the real playoff starts? It's over?

Whoa, that was a really close semi-final. If Kippy had made one more save and gotten a shutout tonight, hammer time would have won. Good match, man.

And now it's the finals! Despite the fact that it seems half my team got injured this year and had to be dropped at some point or other. Halifax Sidebottoms is going down, though only if he has a much less ridiculously good week then he did this time- he would have killed any of us other semi-finalists.

As for real hockey.. Well, I'm pretty confident the Habs are making the playoffs, despite some very mediocre play over the past couple weeks, including three awful games without a goal. Ugh. Let's hope they can rebound in this last week and get some momentum going (had a good win against New Jersey Saturday, so that's good, because New Jersey is generally very good against the Habs). Hopefully we'll hold onto that sixth spot and face the Bruins, because we suck against Philly and I don't particularly want the Habs to meet Washington. Meanwhile, Toronto is edging ever closer to 9th place, where they belong. Good on you, Leafs!

lol I still can't believe how good my team has been last couple of weeks. Got in in 8th place and took out 1st and 4th. Hopefully I can do it one more time but if not, I still like where I got to :)

I hope Montreal meets Boston in the 1st round too. Epic series, and a good shit kicking by the Big Bad Bruins.

I like the poke at the Leafs, the 9th place Leafs have been doing much better than the 6th place Habs the last couple of weeks. Price looks like he's gonna bring the cup Halak couldn't!!

at the end of the day, lets go Red Wings.

Well my expectations for the Kings in the playoffs certainly took a dip last week, losing both Kopitar and Williams, the two best and most creative forwards on the team. Still got good D and goaltending so anything can happen but I'll be shocked if they make it out of the first round, no matter what team they end up playing.

Vancouver is so good it's disgusting. First in the league in goals/game, goals against/game, power play, penalty kill.... I'm sort of hoping for them to play the Hawks in the first round, they seem to have their number. No Byfuglien this time though.

I'll be rooting for the Canucks in the playoffs. There's no reason they cannot at least make it to the finals.

no more big Buff, but there is one thing that Chicago has that no other team has. Jonathon Toews.

that is all

Leafs are 12-8 in last 20 games, Montreal 11-9. It's true that Montreal has had a bad two weeks, but hey, that's why hockey has an 82 game season. Don't think we're winning the Cup this year but I'm pretty damn proud of the team overall, especially considering the number of injuries we've had throughout.

(And hey, the Leafs aren't 9th yet- I just have full faith that they'll be able to make it there)
