Woo! Habs clinch the playoffs. Now let's hope they can stay in 6th.

Skinner 7th youngest 18 yo to reach 30 goals all-time. Nice feat. He's gonna be special.

All right! 4-1 against Toronto, making it a 3-0-1 week and a great way to end the season. And Philly won too, so bring on the Bruins! This should be a great series, though Thomas' ridiculous save percentage is pretty scary. PLAYOFFS TIME, SO MUCH HAPPINESS!

No ninth place for Toronto this year though...

And that my friends, is the sound of me winning this autodraft league. AWW YEAH.

Good match, Silent Man! And fun times all around. I got me some bragging rights now.

In real hockey news, Dallas just lost 4-3 to Minnesota in a pretty exciting game, meaning Chicago will make the playoffs and face Vancouver. Now Vancouver has equal opportunity to choke in the first and second rounds!

Nice job and congratulations, Caligula_K! It was fun, I'm all for doing it again next season, hopefully with a real time draft as well.

Playoff time! Kings vs Sharks. Hard to be optimistic without Kopitar in the lineup but it's gonna be exciting nonetheless! I'd rather be in it and losing than to be watching it from the sideline (sorry metal_xxx).

Looking forward to the Nucks/Hawks, Bolts/Pens and Habs/Bruins series the most!

Yes and I can scrape together the money and convince my friend to come I'm totally going. Wish I had a proper job instead of this student loan bullshit so I didn't have to worry about money all the time.

Since LA is basically my faves in the West, I'm gonna go to that one, just a train ride from here. Will probably watch the Ducks game as well. My brother suddenly became a diehard Rangers fan because of Zuccarello so, I think he'll join in.

who's in for a playoff pool?

a friend of mine is doing a simple one where you pick 2 centers, 2 left wings, 2 right wings, 4 d-man, and 2 goalies. You can pick whoever you want from any one of the sixteen teams. Whoever has the most points by the end of the playoffs wins. if one of your players teams get eliminated, then you are down that position. so pick wisely.

1 point for a goal, 1 point for assist, 1 point per win, 1 point for shutouts. keeps it simple.

who's in?

I'm down, though I wonder if we have enough time to get it all organized. Is it done through ESPN.com or something?

In the meantime, my predictions:

Washington in 5
Buffalo in 7
Boston in 7
Tampa Bay in 6

Vancouver in 6
San Jose in 4
Detroit in 6
Nashville in 6

ha no, not espn. I just mean, post your teams here and at the end of the playoffs I'll add together everybodies points.

tsn.ca or nhl.com will be more than adequate to get the stats
