it's going to be for every main event that is not a title fight.

I don't think the rule is set it stone yet, and I don't know if they are going to do it for UFC 130. All I do know is Dana White likes the idea and wants to impliment it ASAP.

Rampage should beat Hamill but with a good gameplan, disciplin and some luck Hamill could win a decision. Unlikely though.

I'm going with Big Country over Mir. Both have knockout power but Big Country's got a good chin on him and I think he'll beat Mir standing up.

Browne over Struve, Santiago over Stann, Story over Alves. I'm probably crazy though.

I've given up on the UFC... I refuse to pay for a bunch of fighters that refuse to engage.
Last several fights I've pitched in for have been complete mumblers.

Nice bunch of fights this time, almost no decisions.

Go Gustafsson.

really?

the UFC is only getting better IMO. guys like Jon Jones and Rory MacDonald are proof that MMA has a very nice future.

There are a few promising newer prospects, but overall too many fighters spend the majority of their octagon time playing pattycake and sizing each other up. Not enough balls out fighting, which is what I expect to see, at least most of the time.

Meh, I still catch Unleashed when I can, and I may give it another go, but I have to see more fighters take more initiative.

obviously missed Chris Leben vs Wanderlei Silva or Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort or Vitor Belfort vs Yoshiro Akiyama.

I see what you are saying, some guys don't push the action anymore. But remember a lot of them are getting pretty old now and can't go balls out anymore (ie Wandy). But with the young crop of guys who train MMA, UFC is in good hands for years to come. Just need to get over the Rampages, Rich Franklins, Big Nogs, Cro Cop, Matt Hughes, etc.. those guys times are pretty much done.

I'm really liking these lighter weight guys too. Never really watched WEC before. Dominic Cruz is very exciting to watch even though he doesn't finish everybody. Same with Urijah Faber or Jose Aldo. Mendes, Nunes, Barboza, etc..

but hey, to each his own. I say, watch UFC 134 on the 27th, that is a good card with lots of name guys. Should be good times.

Last one I caught was 130.
It seems to be something that has been occurring just this past year or so. I'm sure at some point I'll fork over the cash to watch again, though.

130, if memory serves me correct, was pretty dull. But 132 was great and so was 133. Was not 1 decision on the main card of 133. All KOs or TKOs.

haha, so apparently I gave up to soon... maybe I'll check out 134, because I really do dig MMA, and professional fighting in general.
I think part of the bitterness comes from the Lesnar / Carwin fight... it all seemed downhill from there.

Well Rivera-Philippou was a decision, but that's one fight in five.

edit: hey, my 1000th post! Only took me like seven years.
