No. I do mind fundamentalism and the Christian right in my politics.

Sorry, but not even Marxism, not even fucking marxism, can explain how stupid you looked when you said how cathedrals were funded with all the silver we plundered from the Americas some three to four hundred years before we discovered them.

Thanks for admitting you were wrong. We should do this more often

Way to be a douche about it. I picked a bad example of opulence. It's not as if their aren't countless others I could've chosen from.

Say what you like about Obama, I can't imagine Dave doing this half as smoothly in some little Detroit bar.

Very interesting.
I do, however, sometimes think that some of the hatred people have for the tories is visceral and inherent, not something "personal".

Just as many people hate Labour. They have better things to do than fantasise about Thatcher's funeral, is all. Like oppress the workers! Yeah!

Apparently Dr.Weiner believes that non-interventionist policy regarding Iran is equivalent to being an anti-zionist with regards to a few rogue comments made by Ahmadinejab. Apparently to be anti-Zionist and the fact that our country wastes billions on the Arab-Israeli conflict is equivalent to racism, and that if we don't support Dr.Savage's people than we are tantamount to being criminal racists. Nevermind the fact he is already a warmongering chickenhawk, but now we have to support his people over the deaths of our own. Interesting hypocrisy, and according to him the caller who is a legit conservative by his statements, is blinded by the news yet Savage wanted to play him a soundbite.

More reason why talk Radio is detrimental to the right wing.

I've also been noticing recently among the Ron Paul bots and supporters, a certain predilection to assault candidates ranging from similar ones such as Herman Cain to a bit more moderate ones such as Pawlenty and Rubio. I'm not quite sure how this is benefiting them as their isn't much difference between the candidates on some issues, other than Paul's disdain for economic central planning, his views on foreign policy, and his opposition to the war on "terror". Ok maybe those are big differences after all, I wonder how much of a chance he has against Obozo.

The more I read about poltics, the more I realize it's all bullshit.

More or less.

My uncle says the same thing, but that doesn't mean that our healthy and well-founded cynicism should be an impediment for discourse. Our politicians are corrupt and the system is fucked but we as Americans should discuss the issues, I imagine it was much the same during the ancient times in Greece and Rome.

True.
It feels like a one armed man in a rowboat sometimes though.

Also what did you think of TheSouthernAvenger, I thought his videos were right up your alley. He writes for the American Conservative from what I recall, and while I disagree with his spin on "traditional American values" bullshit he's right on when it comes to foreign policy, civil liberties, and property.

I see it the same way...
somebody calling out the RINO's is always a good thing.
I like Mark Levin at times, though, especially when he is ripping Gloria Allred to shreds... I understand they (Hunter / Levin) have a feud going, haha.

Interesting that he's so young, though.

I found The American Conservative to be enlightening at times, though obviously I'm still trying to understand a lot of their policies from their own perspective. I never liked Mark Levin though he's too far up Hannity's ass, and his books make me feel incredibly nauseated as opposed to something by TSA. I guess it's all a matter of preference though, a lot of paleoconservative thought and libertarian philosophy is appealing to me. With the main difference being immigration, as a lot of the earlier thinkers believe it should be simply relegated to European White males. The small government philosophy I can wholly agree with, but mistrust in other cultures unless they have a hostility about them (such as cultures who have wholly embraced Radical philosophies) is something I'm not too keen on. Maybe that's just the last bit of progressive in me.
