I've enjoyed all I've heard from Vintersorg. I gotta check this out.

If you wanna get more Vintersorg, I'd reccomend Cosmic Genesis. There's something that's just instantly nostalgic about that album.

The clean vocals on this album sound like a Japanese pop song. Usually I love progressive BM but Vintersorg does it in a very cheesy and unpleasant form. What a waste of talent. By the song titles of this band one supposes very sophisticated music but what I get is very pretentious, poor, and a lousy impact from their music. What a shame...

Good review of an awesome album! Although you have confused norwegian with swedish, not the same language, but similar.

This is an amazing album and probably one of their best, id probably score it around 90 as well. It certainly doesnt sound like anything else they've done before and seems to combine a wide variety of metal influences. This time around the folky/melodic parts are more catchier than usual.

Im glad the reviewer has never heard their work before so there is no bias in terms of comparing it to their older stuff (im sure not all their fans will like this).

Glad I'm not the only one. He had such a great voice on the early stuff : /

Everything after Cosmic Genesis is and will be a disappointment.

It's really talent gone to waste.
